The curse includes a cmbinatin f thery, practical training and industry placement s that yu are cnfident and jb ready. Curse Lcatin: Warragul Campus Classes: 9.00am 3.00pm, Mnday and Thursday Curse Dates: 5th February 2018 t 28th June 2018 Duratin: Minimum 18 weeks classrm delivery and aimed cmpletin within 40 weeks including the wrk placement cmpnent. Training Delivery: The curse is delivered thrugh a blend f wrk placement and classrm based learning with hands n training in the fully functinal practical rm. The expectatin is t cmmit t cmpleting apprximately 5 hurs per week f study utside the scheduled training time. A trainer supprted study day is available at the Warragul Campus n Fridays frm 9.30am pm. Wrk Placement: This curse requires a minimum f 120 hurs f wrk placement in a Regulated Educatin and Care Service. Of the 120 hurs, 20 hurs must ccur in the babies rm (0-1 year lds) and 20 hurs with kinder age children. It is recmmended that placement ccur in a variety f settings incrprating a variety f shifts. Yu will need a current Wrking with Children Check prir t cmmencing wrk placement. 4 2018 Accredited Curse Infrmatin Pre Enrlment PreTraining Review Once yu submit an accredited curse applicatin frm t CCG, a representative will cntact yu and cnduct a Pre Enrlment meeting with yu. During the meeting yu will cmplete a Pre Training Review where yu will be required t cmplete an nline skills review and have a discusssin abut yur general wrk and learning experiences and yur career and emplyment pathways. The nline skills review will prvide CCG with an indicatin f yur literacy and numeracy levels and prvide an idea f the level f study that wuld be best fr yu. Statement f Fees infrmatin During the Pre Training Review yu will be prvided with an individual Statement f Fees Curse Qute fr yur prpsed curse f study. The curse qute and this curse infmatin sheet cmbined will prvide yu with a final Statement f Fees summary. Bth dcuments will prvide yu with the infrmatin yu require prir t enrlment. Curse Fees Curse fees are calculated per calendar year, frm January t December. They are frmulated dependent n the number f units and hurs yu are enrlling in and in accrdance with yur eligibility status. Additinal fees may be charged fr materials and amenities relating t yur study. Payment Plans are available fr yu if yu require supprt t enrl int yur curse. Students have tw payment ptins, dependent n the ttal curse fee that must be cmpleted befre the curse cmmences t cnfirm their enrlment. Students must pay in full (ttal fee cst may incur invice arrangement) r enter int the Payment Plan Direct Debit ptin, befre any training can cmmence. Optin 1 - Payment in full: Students wh wish t pay their fees in full and are enrlling int a curse where the ttal curse fees are under $ must pay in full befre the curse cmmences t cnfirm their enrlment. Students wh wish t pay fr the curse in full and are enrlling int curse where the ttal curse fees are ver $ will be required t pay $ upn enrlment and will be inviced the remaining fees prgressively acrss the duratin f the training delivered. Invicing fr the remaining fees will ccur at ne third and tw thirds f the curse duratin and at n mre than $ in any ne invice. Optin 2 - Direct Debit: Students must enter int the Payment Plan ptin as a Direct Debit agreement which requires a depsit f 10% f all curse fees and materials. Direct Debit fr all curses attracts a minimum depsit f 10% f the curse fee fr the units selected fr the calendar year and requires a minimum repayment f $30.00 per frtnight. All fees are required t be paid in full befre cmpletin f the curse and certificates will nt be issued until fees have been entirely paid. Fee Refunds If yu withdraw frm yur curse by written ntice within 4 weeks f the date yu cmpleted yur enrlment/payment prcess and up t within 4 weeks f the curse cmmencement date (using the Curse Withdrawal frm) yu will receive a refund n yur tuitin fee, minus a $50.00 administratin fee. A refund f any materials purchased frm CCG will be dependent n the cnditin f the unused materials and is determined by the Prgram Leader f the curse. The frm must be submitted t the Custmer Service Officer r VET Manager at any CCG campus lcatin. Yu are nt entitled t any refund if yu withdraw after the fur week perid. If a curse is cancelled by CCG at any time during the perid f a persn s enrlment, CCG will refund the pr-rata prtin f the tuitin fees, amenity fees, and fees fr materials that have nt been used prir t the date f cancellatin. Training and Assessment Thrughut yur study yu will cmplete assessments fr each unit f cmpetence against the training yu have received. Yu will receive a Student Assessment Guide that utlines the tasks fr each unit f cmpetence that yu will be assessed against. Yu are expected t attempt each assessment task utlined in the Student Assessment Guide. CCG will retain yur riginal wrk submitted. Once the tasks have been attempted yu will receive feedback frm yur Trainer and Assessr n the utcmes achieved. Student Supprt CCG can prvide yu with additinal supprt if required with yur individual Language, Literacy and Numeracy needs. This can be prvided thrugh a range f ptins that can be determined during the Pre Enrlment interview. 4.

5 2018 Accredited Curse Infrmatin Skills Recgnitin Skills recgnitin is a generic term that can be used t cver the ways in which an individual s skills, experience, knwledge and qualificatins can be frmally acknwledged. These may include either Recgnitin f Prir Learning (RPL) r Credit Transfer (CT). Recgnitin f Prir Learning (RPL): Recgnitin f Prir Learning is a prcess where a persn with wrk experience r previus infrmal learning, can apply t have their skills and knwledge assessed, with the aim f getting a frmal qualificatin. If yu wish t apply fr RPL yu need t indicate this during this interview prcess and prir t enrlment. Credit Transfer (CT) and Natinal Recgnitin (NR): if yu have previusly cmpleted an accredited curse with units that are identified as equivalent t the units in the curse yu are interested in yu may be able t apply fr Credit Transfer. CCG recgnises the AQF qualificatins and statements f attainment issued t students by ther Registered Training Organisatin's (RTO s) within Australia. The CCG Representative will infrm yu f what dcumentatin yu need t prvide if yu wish t apply prir t enrlment. Student Transitin int New Qualificatins Accredited curses and qualificatins are cntinually being updated and imprved t meet current industry standards. If yu are enrlled in a curse r qualificatin that is superseded during the time f yur enrlment yu may be required t transitin int the new qualificatin. This transitin will be discussed with students n an individual basis. Student access t recrds Access t yur student recrds is available and can be btained by request with yur Teacher/Trainer r VET Manager. Yu will need t cmplete and submit the frm 602-1A Student access t recrds which is available n the website under the Frms and Guides link r in hard cpy frm Custmer Service. Issuing f Results All students are issued with a Statement f Results, Statement f Attainment r Certificatin upn cmpletin f their study. If required, students can purchase a replacement Certificate r Statement f Attainment fr a fee f $30.00 r request a cpy f the riginal fr a fee f $ VET Data Use and Student Feedback Surveys Under the Data Prvisin Requirements 2012 and VET Data Plicy (which includes the Natinal VET Prvider Cllectin Data Requirements Plicy), Registered Training Organisatins are required t cllect and submit data cmpliant with AVETMISS fr the Natinal VET Prvider Cllectin fr all Natinally Recgnised Training. This data is held by the Natinal Centre fr Vcatinal Educatin Research Ltd (NCVER), and may be used fr the fllwing purpses, t: issue a VET Statement f Attainment r VET Qualificatin, and ppulate Authenticated VET Transcripts; facilitate statistics and research relating t educatin, including surveys; understand hw the VET market perates, fr plicy, wrkfrce planning and cnsumer infrmatin; and administer VET, including prgram administratin, regulatin, mnitring and evaluatin. During yur curse yu will be asked t cmplete an nline student survey. It takes abut 10 minutes and gives yu the pprtunity t tell CCG abut yur learning experience. Yu may als be cntacted by the Natinal Centre fr Vcatinal Educatin and Research t participate in the NCVER survey. The Department may als ask yu t participate in the annual student utcme survey r participate in a department endrsed prject. The infrmatin they cllect frm yu is used fr audit, review r investigatin purpses.
