The FINAL DAY fr all students, including students wh have gvernment-issued student lans, t have their accunts paid in full, is the first Tuesday f Nvember fr the Fall semester, March fr the Winter semester and June fr the Summer. If students are experiencing any prblems regarding the payment f their accunt, they must cntact the Finance Office as sn as pssible t discuss their ptins. PAYMENT METHODS Students can use ne f the fllwing ptins in paying their fees: 1. Direct Bank Payment: Fees can be paid in persn r nline thrugh ne f the fllwing banks (CIBC, Sctiabank, Ryal

4 Bank r TD Canada Trust). If paying nline, simply add Master s Cllege and Seminary as a payee t yur Bills list. Yur accunt number is yur Student ID Number. Since nline payments may take up t 48 hurs t prcess, please ensure that yu allw fr sufficient time fr prcessing. 2. Cash, Cheque, Mney Order, Bank Draft r Interac: Please pay at the Finance Office in persn r send a cheque by mail. 3. Transfer: Cntact the Finance Office at finance@mcs.edu if yu want t pay by transfer. NOTE: Master s des nt accept credit card payments fr cmpulsry fees, tuitin, r rm and bard. The fllwing Payment Optins are available fr students: 1. PAYMENT IN FULL Students wh chse this ptin must make full payment f all fees at least ne week prir t start f curses in the Fall and Winter semester. Fr the Summer semester, their payment is due n r befre the third Tuesday f April. This is the nly ptin available fr part-time students wh are ding fewer than nine credit hurs. 2. DEFERRED PAYMENT PLAN The Deferred Payment Plan, which is subject t a $75.00 fee per semester, is available fr students wh enrl in nine r mre credit hurs. The first payment f 40%, plus the deferred payment fee, is due n r befre the third Tuesday f August (Fall Semester), December (Winter Semester) r April (Summer Semester). The remaining balance fr the Fall semester is due in tw equal payments n the first Tuesday f Octber and Nvember; fr the Winter semester, the remaining balance is due n the first Tuesday f February and March. Fr the Summer semester, the remaining balance is due in tw equal payments n the first Tuesday f May and June. Students wh use the Deferred Payment Plan must prvide the Finance Office with pst-dated cheques s that payments can be prcessed, accrding t the dates indicated. If a scheduled payment is mre than five business days late, a student must meet with the Finance Office and/r Registrar s Office. The student will als be assessed a $ administrative fee and may be suspended frm the cllege. 3. Canada/Prvincial Student Lans All students applying fr a student lan are encuraged t submit their lan applicatin at least eight weeks prir t the start f the semester s that their lan is available when the semester starts. A student des nt have t be accepted at Master s prir t submitting their Student Lan Applicatin. Students wh receive their Canada/Prvincial Student Lan dcuments by the first day f class can use their student lan t pay their tuitin fees. Students shuld als nte that they will need t pay their cmpulsry fees and, if applicable, their residence and any ther fees, n r befre this date as well. Students wh have nt received their Canada/Prvincial Student Lan dcuments n r befre the start f the semester, r their student lan is nt sufficient t cver all required fees, can either arrange persnal interim financing r use the Deferred Payment Plan. When students receive their Canada/Prvincial Student Lan dcuments, they have five business days t pay any fees that have nt been cvered by their lan. If their payment is late, they must meet with the Finance Office and/r the Registrar s Office. They will als be assessed a $ administrative fee and may be suspended frm the cllege. Overdue Accunts A Service Charge f 1% per mnth will be levied n all accunts that are in arrears. An administrative fee f $ will be assessed fr late arrival f payments fr the Deferred Payment Plan r payments frm Canada/Prvincial Student Lans. The Miscellaneus Fees sectin f the current Fee Schedule specifies the applicable charges fr handling NSF cheques and ther returned cheques. N additinal cheques will be accepted if tw cheques have been returned. Tuitin Refund Plicy Tuitin refunds are prvided t students within the first fur weeks f the semester, prviding a Drp/Add Frm is submitted t the Registrar s Office. A full refund is prvided up t the end f the week ne; a 75% refund is prvided up t end f week tw and a 50% refund is prvided in weeks three and fur. N refund is prvided after week fur. Fr students wh have a Canada Student Lan, any eligible refund will be submitted t the Natinal Student Lans Service Centre, rather than the student. A Drp/Add fee applies t all curses drpped after the start f curses. Curses will usually be deleted frm students schedule if they qualify t receive a 100% refund. The rebate is prcessed effective frm the date the Registrar s Office receives the written ntice f withdrawal. Students are respnsible t check their wn schedules fr accuracy. They may be held respnsible fr any assciated csts that ccur fr any errrs that are nt crrected. 2. Rm and Bard Refund Plicy Students wh withdraw frm residence within the first tw weeks f the start f a semester will receive a pr-rated refund n bth rm and bard. After tw weeks, students wh vluntarily withdraw r are dismissed (i.e., disciplinary sanctin) are nt eligible t receive any refund n their rm fee and will be given a pr-rated bard refund, less a 10% administrative fee n the bard prtin.
