The tuitin fee includes all charges assciated with the academic, c-curricular and pastral prgrammes ffered by the Schl. The tuitin fee has been calculated after the Schl has taken int cnsideratin the Federal and State Gvernment funding. Cmpsite Fee 3. This charge supprts the prvisin f class set materials and the mst up t date elearning facilities. Family Discunt 4. Families with multiple children at the Schl receive sibling discunts when the children are enrlled at the schl in the same year. Fr 2018 the fllwing discunts apply: a) 12.5% discunt fr the secnd child, and b) 30% discunt fr the third and subsequent children. 2

3 5. The highest discunt applies t the fees f the child attending the lwest year level at the Schl. Payments in advance 6. Payment f the full year s accunt in advance attracts a 3% discunt n the tuitin fee, prvided the payment is received at the Schl by Friday 2nd February Schlarships 7. The Schl may ffer academic, general excellence and music schlarships t wrthy and eligible students. The schlarships ffered will be shwn as a credit n the fee statement and are a reductin f the tuitin fee charges nly. 8. Except in unusual circumstances, fr example relcatin interstate r verseas, if a student is withdrawn frm Yarra Valley Grammar befre the end f Year 12 t attend anther schl, the value f the schlarship already received will be repaid in full t Yarra Valley Grammar. Music charges 9. The fllwing charges apply t students undertaking music lessns: Music Class Tuitin Fees Per Annum Tuitin Fees Per Term $ $ Individual Music Lessn - 30 mins 1, Individual Music Lessn - 45 mins 2, Grup Music Lessn 1, Music Thery Instrument Hire Lessns are charged ne term in advance. Once charged, students are cmmitted t cmplete the term. The agreement t take music lessns may be terminated by giving ntice t the Music Administratr by the end f the 5th week f the term, t avid anther term f lessns being scheduled. N refunds can be given. 11. Except in the case f prtracted illness r pre-arranged absence f the student (when the teacher has been ntified 5 weeks in advance) n refund f fees will be given fr lessns missed. Schl Camps 12. Schl camps are a cmpulsry element f the curriculum and inviced with the accunt in term 1. The Schl arranges and pays fr all expenses in advance fr all students t attend their respective camps. Therefre there are n refunds f camp fees fr students wh d nt attend except in the case f unusual circumstances such as illness (medical certificate required). 13. All Schl tuitin fees must be fully paid and up t date fr a student t apply t jin any interstate r verseas Schl turs. Charter Buses 16. The Schl has a cntract with Ventura Bus Lines Pty Ltd t perate ten charter bus rutes. Csts fr the charter services are as fllws: Annual Pass (includes $190 discunt) 930 Term Pass 280 Single Trip - ne way 6 $ 17. Student ID cards are used t swipe n and ff the buses. Please cntact the Accunts Receivable Officer fr a registratin frm r fr any enquiries regarding the charter buses. Yarra Fundatin Building Fund 18. A vluntary cntributin t the Building Fund f $100 per term is included n accunt statements. Parents may wish t take up Assciate Membership and supprt the valuable wrk f the Yarra Fundatin by making this dnatin. 4

5 19. The vluntary term gift t the Building Fund is an allwable tax deductin n dnrs incme tax returns under the prvisins f the Incme Tax Assessment Act Payment f Accunts 20. Statements fr schl fees are ed mnthly t a nminated address. Parents are respnsible fr advising the Schl f any changes t the nminated address via t accunts@yvg.vic.edu.au. Payment ptins 21. Yarra Valley Grammar ffers families the fllwing ptins fr payment f schl fees. OPTION 1 Prepayment Payment fr mre than ne term s fee. A discunt applies if fees are paid fr the full year in advance by the due date in term 1. Cntact the Accunts Receivable Officer fr the discunted payment figure, if applicable. OPTION 2 Term Payments FOUR equal payments fr each f terms 1-4 fr ELC t Year 11 students. THREE equal payments fr each f terms 1 3 fr Year 12 students. NB This is the default ptin, if n ther ptin is applicable r selected. OPTION 3 Regular Payments by Instalment Regular payments by instalment as arranged. This ptin is available using ur direct debit system r as agreed with the Finance Office. Payment methds 22. Payment f accunts may be made by the fllwing methds: Cash / EFTPOS In persn at the Finance Office. Cheque BPay Made payable t Yarra Valley Grammar, attached t the remittance advice and delivered t the Finance Office. Via internet banking using BPay. Biller cde: Reference number: lcated at the bttm f the invice. 5

6 Credit Card The Schl accepts Visa and MasterCard nly and n surcharge applies. Payments can be made: via the schl website at r in persn at the Finance Office, r by telephne t , r by cmpleting and mailing t the Finance Office, the slip at the bttm f yur accunt. Direct Debit Direct Depsit This allws the Schl t electrnically transfer the authrised payments frm a nminated bank r credit card accunt n a regular basis. The Direct Debit Request frm can be prvided by the Accunts Receivable Officer. Such an ptin will enable parents t make weekly, frtnightly r mnthly payments frm February t Nvember inclusive. By signing the Family Enrlment frm, parents have agreed t be jintly and severally liable fr all fees and ther payments. Any request t vary this agreement must be made in writing. 24. As a cnditin f entry all fees must be paid by the due date r by frmal payment arrangement agreed with the Finance Office, therwise students risk their enrlment being cancelled. 25. Fees are due and payable within a mnth frm the date f issue f the accunt statement. The fllwing due dates apply in 2018: Term Start f Term Statement Date Due Date 2, April March April , July June July , Octber August September , January December January Unpaid accunts may be referred t a debt cllectin agency and any assciated csts, such as cllectin charges and legal fees, will be added t the accunt. 27. Parents experiencing difficulties in paying their accunt shuld cntact the Finance Manager t discuss their situatin and make alternative payment arrangements befre the due date fr payment. 6

7 Withdrawal f students 28. Parents must prvide ne full term s ntice in writing befre remving a student frm the Schl. Where such ntice is nt prvided, ne term s fees will be chargeable per student withdrawn. 29. N prprtin f the current term s fees will be reimbursed if a student leaves part way thrugh the term. Insurance 30. The Schl maintains student accident insurance cver which includes a level f prtectin fr students wrldwide 24 hurs a day, 365 days a year, against accidental bdily injury, subject t certain exclusins. The Schl strngly recmmends that parents assess this cver in light f their wn insurance requirements. A Schedule f Events and Cmpensatin is available frm the Finance Office t enable review f the benefits available. 31. If a child is injured during the year and a parent needs t make a claim n the student insurance plicy they shuld cntact the Crprate Services Manager n
