3 TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR ADMISSION ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS AND PROCEDURES It is necessary fr ALL applicants t meet the fllwing requirements: 1. The Intensive English Prgram at Face t Face Learning Center is specifically designed fr nn-native like English speakers. 2. A minimum age f 18 years (the applicant can be as yung as 16 years ld nly with written permissin given by the parents r guardian f the student). 3. A cmpleted student applicatin fr admissin frm. 4. A $250 nn-refundable applicatin fee. This includes the placement test, bk and materials. 5. A clear scanned cpy f gvernment issued pht ID. 6. English Placement Exam must be taken prir t start date. 7. Student must attend scheduled rientatin, receive, read and understand the Student Handbk. VISAS Face t Face Learning Center is authrized by the US Federal Gvernment t enrll nn-immigrant students. Eligible students are required t prve financial respnsibility and enrll in prgrams f 18 clck hurs r mre per week. F-1 visa students must cmply with the visa requirements t remain in status in the USA. This sectin is fr applicants wh need a new initial I-20 t seek an F-1 student visa r Change f Status. The I-20 Certificate will nt be issued until all required dcuments and applicatin fee are received. All admissin requirements 1-7 must be met. 8. Face t Face Learning Center is required by the United States Immigratin and Naturalizatin Service t btain verificatin f financial resurces. Each internatinal student must submit the fllwing: If yu are self-supprting, please attach a bank letter in English. This letter must shw sufficient funds t cver tuitin and living expenses fr the intended perid f study. The required amunt is $385 per week while yu are studying at Face t Face Learning Center. (Example: fr a 12-week study perid, the bank letter shuld shw the equivalent f $4,620 USD.) If yu are travelling with dependents, Cmplete a Dependent F-2 Applicatin Cpy f each dependent s passprt page shwing picture, bigraphical infrmatin, and expiratin date Cpy f marriage certificate (fr a spuse request) Cpy f birth certificate (fr a child request under 21 years f age) The amunt f $ per persn per week must be added t the bank letter t shw sufficient funds t cver general living expenses. If yur fees are t be paid by a spnsr, please have that persn cmplete the Affidavit f Supprt and attach their bank letter. Students with F-1 visas wishing t transfer frm anther educatinal institutin within the US: 1. ALL Admissin Requirements and Prcedures 1-8 must be met. 2. A cpy f the I-20, I-94 and Visa. 3. A cmpleted Face t Face Learning Center Transfer Eligibility frm. Students wh will submit a Change f Status applicatin with USCIS must submit all required dcuments (Requirements and Prcedures 1-8), applicatin fee and payment f 12 weeks f the Intensive English Prgram. This payment will be applied t the last 12 weeks f the prgram.

4 APPLICATION APPROVAL Face t Face Learning Center will send an Applicatin Apprval and Invice via within 72 hurs f receiving the Applicatin fr Admissin. Any cncerns will als be addressed at this mment. ACCEPTANCE PACKAGE Once all dcuments have been submitted, all fees and tuitin have been paid, an Acceptance package alng with the I-20 will be sent via mail. The student shuld set up the pick-up f this package. Once yu receive yur I-20, yu are required by Immigratin & Custms Enfrcement (ICE) t pay a ne-time SEVIS fee (currently $200) directly t ICE via Internet. CANCELLATION POLICY AND REFUNDS If an F-1 applicant is nt accepted r if a student has their visa applicatin denied, a refund will be made. The applicatin plus a 4-week cmpensatin fee is nn-refundable. If an accepted applicant enters the US n an I-20 issued by Face t Face Learning Center r receives a Change f Status and subsequently cancels prir t the start f classes r is a n shw, Face t Face Learning Center will nt prvide a refund. Accepted nn-i-20 students may cancel within 45 days prir t the start f class. A student must prvide ntificatin f cancellatin in writing t be eligible fr a refund. If Face t Face Learning Center cancels a prgram, Face t Face Learning Center will refund all mnies paid by the student. A student must prvide ntificatin f cancellatin in writing t be eligible fr a refund. All refunds due will be made within 30 days f the date f cancellatin. If yu must stp yur curse due t a dcumented emergency, the unused prtin f yur payment will be put n hld fr a year. This amunt is nn-transferable. VACATION, BREAKS AND LEAVE OF ABSENCE Students are allwed a 1-mnth vacatin when enrlled fr mre than 9 mnths. Students have a break between sessins. Each break varies, lk at calendar. Students wh must take a Leave f Absence, need t have it apprved. Up t 1 mnth Leave f Absence is allwed per year. PAYMENT The invice must be paid in full prir t the student s start date. Fees are calculated in cmplete weeks and part f a week is cunted as a full week. Recurring payments are due ne week prir t the final paid class f the previus payment. Example Last paid class ends n 5/11. Recurring payment due n 5/4 (1 week prir t 5/11). Cntinuing students are nt allwed in class if payment is nt received by the due date. If recurring payment is nt received by due date, there will be a $30 late fee. If recurring payment is nt received within 3 schl days f the due date, students are remved frm the class rster and must re-enrll at a later date. All students n a payment plan are subject t the terms and cnditins f their payment plan. Prmtinal ffers will be hnred thrugh paid expiratin date. Students have the ptin t pt-in n recurring payments. Recurring payments are every 28 days frm the due date. Students wh pt-in n recurring payments will nt be charged a 3% fee. CONDUCT AND DISCIPLINE Face t Face Learning Center is an ENGLISH ONLY schl. Students are encuraged t speak English at all times. Students must cntact the ffice in the case f an absence r lateness. D nt cntact the teacher. Cell phnes must be placed n silent during class.
