2 Terms and cnditins fr training curse and nline qualificatins 1. Definitins and Interpretatin 1.1. The fllwing definitins and interpretatin shall apply t all dealings between the Buyer and the Cmpany The Cmpany, Us, Our and We shall mean IPP Educatin Ltd trading as the CIPP, the Chartered Institute f Payrll Prfessinals and its subsidiaries The Buyer shall mean the persn, firm r cmpany t whm the CIPP agrees t supply t Prducts/Services means the prducts and/r services we agreed t prvide yu with under the Cntract Cntract Dcument means the enrlment frm, bking frm, registratin frm, and schedules applicable t it and ur terms f business 2. Cnditins Applying 2.1. These terms and cnditins supersede any terms and cnditins prpsed by The Buyer and may nt be varied except with the written cnsent f The Cmpany in accrdance with 2.3 belw Prir t bking yu must refer t ur Website terms and cnditins Fr Privacy and Data Prtectin Plicy refer t clauses 5 and 8 f ur Website terms and cnditins Any variatin t these terms and cnditins must be agreed in writing and signed r cuntersigned by a Directr f The Cmpany. 3. Fees, Invicing and Payment 3.1. Fees The price(s) charged will be as shwn n The Cmpany s website at the time f the purchase f the Prducts/Services. The nly exceptins shall be any variatin pursuant t 2.3 abve. All prices quted are exclusive f VAT which will be added t all sums due under invice. The Buyer will pay fees in full and, except as stated in these Terms, fees are nt refundable Invicing and Payment The fllwing payment terms frm part f yur riginal cntract and must be adhered t. Payment can be made electrnically by credit/debit card at the time f bking. Alternatively an invice can be requested. Unless the Cntract Dcument states therwise, fr example befre the curse material is released, the ttal invice is due fr payment within 30 days f the date f issue withut any right f set-ff. Methds f payment are detailed n ur invices Nn-payment f invices If the buyer has any queries n receipt f the invice, The Buyer will write t The Cmpany specifying their cncern within 14 days f the date f the invice. 3 If any payment is utstanding fr the curse, The Cmpany shall be entitled t deny any delegate registered by The Buyer entry t the curse until such time as payment is made Additinal fees Training curses 22 days and mre befre the date f the curse Cancellatin - 65+VAT 21 days r less befre the date f the curse Substitute delegate - 65+VAT Amendment by Yu (including change f date/venue) - 65+VAT per persn per curse Extended access t nline material - 65+VAT Online qualificatins Cancellatin befre material is made available - 65+VAT Assessment re-sits/deferrals - 65+VAT Curse deferral fee VAT 4. Cnfirmatin f Bking 4.1. Training curses By submitting a bking frm yu agree and cnfirm that the delegate will attend/participate in the curse. All bkings are subject t availability. Bkings will be cnfirmed when a place has been allcated. Jining instructins will be issued n later than seven days prir t the curse date, at which pint yu shall als receive lgin details t access training materials nline Online qualificatins/training curses By submitting an enrlment r bking frm yu agree and cnfirm that the delegate will attend/participate in the qualificatin/curse. All enrlments/bkings are subject t availability. Enrlment/bking will be cnfirmed when a place has been allcated. Jining instructins will be issued n the qualificatin/training curse cmmencement date as indicated n the timetable/website. 5. Rescheduling, Cancellatin and Nn-attendance 5.1. By us: The dates, times and venues advertised are prvisinal. We will use reasnable endeavurs t adhere t these; hwever, we may reschedule r cancel if circumstances beynd ur cntrl make cancellatin necessary. Circumstances beynd ur cntrl include, but are nt limited t, acts f terrr, natural disaster, strikes, Acts f Gd and adverse weather cnditins. In the event f a change r cancellatin we will make reasnable endeavurs t ntify yu and ffer yu an alternative. If yu d nt accept an alternative we shall refund fees paid fr the riginal bking and yu agree that we shall incur n further liability whatsever as a result f the cancellatin By yu: Training curses: If a delegate cannt attend a training curse after bking is cnfirmed, subject t availability, they will be transferred t anther curse f the same r different title n the same r different date prvided we receive the request fr transfer in writing n later than 21 days prir t cmmencement f the curse and yu will pay the difference, where applicable. A charge f 65+VAT will be levied if less than 21 days ntice is given. In the event that the delegate wants t cancel their bking they must send us a request in writing n later than 21 days prir t the CIPP terms and cnditins fr higher educatin qualificatins v7 June

4 curse date and a charge f 65+VAT per persn, per cancellatin will be levied. We shall nt refund fees where less than 21 days ntice is received r fr nn-attendance n the day We accept substitute delegates up t day befre the curse date. Details must be prvided in writing. A fee f 65+VAT will be charged if ntice is given 21 days r less befre the curse date Online qualificatins: Students are able t cancel/change up t the date that the material is made available by ing educatin@cipp.rg.uk. A charge f 65+VAT will apply Online material We shall nt refund fees paid nce a delegate/student has been bked nt a curse/qualificatin and material has been made available Access is given t training curse material n later than seven days prir t the curse date and fr seven days after. It is the delegate s respnsibility t access/dwnlad the latest versin f the material. Any access after this time may incur an administratin fee f 65+VAT Access is given t nline training curse material n the start date shwn n the website at time f bking. Access will expire 21 days later. Any access after this time may incur an administratin fee f 65+VAT Access is given t nline qualificatins material n the qualificatin start date prvided n the timetable. Access will expire fur weeks after the qualificatin is cmpleted. 6. Discunts and Prmtins T be eligible fr discunts and prmtins, yu must meet the criteria fr each discunt r prmtin type as set ut by CIPP Membership discunts are applicable t paying members f the CIPP wh hld Assciate, Full, Fellw r Chartered membership nly. Membership numbers must be quted at the time f bking The CIPP may intrduce a prmtin at any time. Prmtinal rates are nt applicable t thse wh have already bked t attend a curse. A prmtin is subject t availability. A prmtin des nt give yu the right t bk a specific curse r bk a cmbinatin/mix f curses. We reserve the right t reject the cmbinatin f curses r cancel a prmtin withut ntice. Only ne ffer/prmtin can be accepted and must be applied at the time f bking. 7. Data prtectin 7.1. 5 8. Cpyright 8.1. We retain wnership and sle rights t the cpyright f any material prvided fr the purpse f the curse/event. Once supplied, materials, with the exceptin f the cpyright, becme the persnal prperty f the delegate and n part f the materials maybe used r reprduced in any frm by any persn r rganisatin unless as authrised by a Directr f The Cmpany Audi r vide recrding at any curse/event is nt allwed except where we have given prir written permissin. 9. Law f England 9.1. Fr all legal relatinships between the Cmpany and the Buyer, the law f England and Wales shall apply. 10. Severability If a prvisin f this Agreement is r becmes illegal, invalid r unenfrceable in any jurisdictin, that shall nt affect the validity r enfrceability in that jurisdictin f any ther prvisin f this Agreement.
