1 COMMUNICATION & RELEASE OF INFORMATION POLICY #77 Intrductin This plicy utlines the Cmpany s guidelines, expectatins and requirements related t: Use f devices t capture phtgraphs, vide and/r audi while n ArcelrMittal Dfasc prperty; Requests frm jurnalists r ther media representatives; Requests received frm third parties (ften but nt exclusively, suppliers) r jint venture partners f the Cmpany fr testimnials r endrsements by ArcelrMittal Dfasc fr their prducts r services; Cmpany infrmatin t be presented r psted publicly by any party, including speeches, presentatins, r cmmentary; Participatin r attendances at which Emplyees may be identified as an emplyee r representative f the Cmpany; and Psting t n-site Cmpany bulletin bards. 1. Phtgraphs, vide, audi 1.1 Visitrs: In rder fr a Visitr t take phtgraphs r vide r recrd audi n ArcelrMittal Dfasc prperty, prir permissin must be granted frm the relevant Business Unit r Department Manager under which the wrk and request is riginating. In additin t any cntractual bligatin wed t the Cmpany, all Visitrs must cmply with the fllwing: 1. Visitrs must fllw ArcelrMittal Dfasc Health and Safety plicies. 2. N Emplyees are t be in phts r vide r be recrded withut expressed written cnsent in the frm attached t this plicy. (Frm t be cmpleted by the recrder.) 3. N lgs r brand marks are t be shwn. 4. N prprietary infrmatin may be shared. 5. Crprate Affairs must apprve the publicatin f any phts, vide r audi captured. (Cntact Manager, Crprate Affairs). Fr the purpse f this plicy, Visitr means: (i) any third party wh perfrms wrk r prvides services n ArcelrMittal Dfasc prperty, including all n-site service prviders, cnstructin cntractrs, utside carriers, and subcntractrs, and their respective emplyees and agents; (ii) any jint venture partner r affiliate f the Cmpany and their respective emplyees and agents attending any ArcelrMittal Dfasc prperty ; and (iii) any ther visitr t any ArcelrMittal Dfasc prperty. NOTE: N Visitr may cpy any Cmpany infrmatin r draw/sketch any equipment r facilities. Given the relatinship between the Cmpany and Visitrs that fall within the categry utlined in paragraph (ii) abve, prir permissin t take phtgraphs r vides r t recrd audi is likely t have been granted. Hwever, it is imprtant t inquire int the purpse, intended use and prpsed 1

2 audience f such a phtgraph, vide r recrding t ensure cmpliance by the Cmpany with its bligatins t its stakehlders. The relevant Business Unit r Department Manager can assist in determining that the necessary permissins have been btained. 1.2 Emplyees: Emplyees (i.e. permanent, casual, interns, c-ps and summer students) f the Cmpany ( Emplyees ) must fllw all prtcls, prcedures, wrk instructins and plicies in their relevant Business Unit and/r Department, and f the Cmpany and ArcelrMittal if using a persnal r wrk issued camera/recrding device either n the Cmpany netwrk r therwise. Emplyees that pst cntent (including text based cmmentary) related t their wrk at ArcelrMittal Dfasc t external channels, including scial media sites, must cmply with the fllwing: 1. Emplyees must fllw ArcelrMittal Dfasc Health and Safety and relevant Business Unit and/r Department plicies, prcedures, prtcls and wrk instructins; 2. Yu must infrm ther Emplyees and ther individuals if they are t be in a pht, vide r audi recrding and the intended use f it, and it is strngly recmmended that yu btain expressed written cnsent. 3. N lgs r brand marks f third parties are t be shwn. It is imprtant t nt prvide an endrsement t third parties. 4. N prprietary infrmatin may be shared. 5. Pstings must nt reflect negatively n the Cmpany r any f its emplyees, custmers r suppliers, and must adhere t the fllwing plicies and prcedures: Business Cde f Cnduct; Infrmatin Technlgy Usage; Respect and Behaviur in the Wrkplace; Mbile Telecm; Human Rights; and Scial Media. NOTE: N Emplyee may cpy any Cmpany infrmatin r draw/sketch any equipment r facilities. 2. Speeches, articles fr publicatin and public attendances Advance written ntificatin t Crprate Affairs must be given by an Emplyee f any public event attendances at which such Emplyee might r will be identified as an emplyee r representative f the Cmpany. All public speeches in which the presenter is identified as an Emplyee f r service prvider t ArcelrMittal Dfasc and/r the presentatin is related t r references ArcelrMittal Dfasc must be apprved, in advance, by the Crprate Affairs and Legal Departments. If the speech r presentatin is f a technical nature, r may therwise cntain cnfidential r prprietary infrmatin, including any Cmpany plicies, prcedures, prtcls r wrk instructins, the Technical Submissins Apprval Prcedure must be fllwed. 3 3. Media All media inquiries and requests (i.e. newspapers, magazines, radi, televisin, nline news, trade assciatin publicatins, etc.) must be referred t Crprate Affairs. Cntact Manager, Crprate Affairs. 4. Endrsements/Testimnials Testimnials and/r endrsements is defined as any public statement (written r verbal) by, r attributed t, ArcelrMittal Dfasc that indicates/implies satisfactin with a relatinship with a third party and/r its gds r services. There are benefits that third parties derive frm publicly advertising r disclsing ArcelrMittal Dfasc s use f, and/r satisfactin with, their prducts r services. Hwever in mst cases, there are limited benefits t the Cmpany when entering int r granting such Testimnial r Endrsement arrangements. In fact, sme additinal risks may be created including ptential reputatinal and legal risk t the Cmpany. Requests f this nature als require several internal resurces t manage, prvide and mnitr infrmatin related t the requests. The plicy f ArcelrMittal Dfasc with respect t the receipt f requests frm third parties fr participatin in Endrsement r Testimnial arrangements, including c-branding and licenses t use ArcelrMittal Dfasc lg r images, is as fllws: ArcelrMittal Dfasc des nt generally prvide Endrsements r Testimnials. In certain limited circumstances, ArcelrMittal Dfasc may make an exceptin where the benefits are deemed by management t utweigh the risks. In such circumstances, prir written apprval must be btained frm: Crprate Affairs Department Legal Department Purchasing Department Applicable Business Unit and/r Department General Manager and Vice President The Cmpany is aware that prcesses and plicies similar t the abve are undertaken by third parties when the Cmpany seeks testimnials r endrsements frm them. 5. Bulletin Bards All ntices fr psting n Cmpany bulletin bards must be apprved, in advance, by the applicable area Business Unit r Department Manager. All such ntices shuld have a psting date and remval date stated theren. 3

4 Release and Cnsent t Pht, Vide, r Vice Recrding The undersigned (the Subject ) hereby acknwledges that he r she will be, and cnsents t being, phtgraphed, vide-recrded, and/r audi-recrded, as applicable, fr the purpses f: (such phtgraphs, vide recrdings, r audi recrdings cllectively, the Wrks ), by (the Recrder ). The Subject acknwledges that ArcelrMittal Dfasc G.P. (the Cmpany ) may nt wn, cntrl, r direct the ultimate use f, the Wrks. By signing this release and cnsent, each f the Subject and the Recrder agree t release the Cmpany, its affiliates and each f their directrs, fficers, emplyees and, agents (cllectively, the Released Entities ) frm and against any and all claims which either the Subject r the Recrder may have against the Released Entities fr invasin f privacy, right f publicity, wnership r prperty right, r any ther claim arising frm the use f the Wrks by the Recrder r therwise, hwever mdified, adapted, r reprduced. By signing this release and cnsent, each f the Subject and the Recrder respectively cnfirm each is nt a minr that each has read this release and cnsent in its entirety and fully understands and agrees with its cntents.
