4 Hw d I apply fr all types f aid? A student must cmplete the Free Applicatin fr Federal Student Aid. Yu may cmplete the FAFSA electrnically at Once yu cmplete and SUBMIT yur applicatin electrnically, yu will receive a Student Aid Reprt within tw weeks. Each schl yu listed n the FAFSA will als receive yur infrmatin electrnically and will then be in cntact with yu.

5 What is an EFC? EFC - Estimated Family Cntributin is a number determined by the U. S. Department f Educatin (based n yur FAFSA infrmatin) that is subtracted frm yur Cst f Attendance t determine eligibility fr Pell Grants and ther need-based aid.

6 Deferred Payment Arrangements Wh needs A Payment Plan? If a student s financial Aid des nt cver 100% f his/her tuitin and fees by the 12 th class day, the student will need t make arrangements t set up a Payment Plan. A student wh has nt cmpleted required financial aid paperwrk is cnsidered as a cash paying student and must adhere t the Payment Plan setup. 9 Delinquent Deferred Payment Plan Yu can be denied access t all classes, dining hall services, and drmitry accmmdatins. Yu can be Administratively withdrawn frm yur classes. Yu will nt be allwed t register any semester thereafter until balance is paid in full. After 90 day delinquency, yur accunt will be referred t a cllectin agency fr nn payment. ( yu will be accessed any additinal cst incurred, including cllectin fees.

10 What is a Cash Basis Student? A Cash Basis Student is a student that pays ttal cst fr all educatinal expenses excluding any Federal Financial Aid.

What are yur ffice hurs? Our ffices are pen fr yur cnvenience Mnday thrugh Friday 8AM- 5PM. Yu may als access yur JCC Web Prtal accunt nline. I have a credit balance n my accunt what des this mean? A student is due a refund if a credit balance exists n his accunt after psting f all crrect charges, payments, financial aid, schlarships, etc. The refund must be prcessed and a check issued within 14 days after the credit balance first appeared n the student s accunt.
