1 Partner Agency Applicatin Tque Campaign 2017/18 Allcatin f Tque Campaign Funds Partner Agencies receive 50% f the sale price f each item they sell (example: $7.50 frm every $15.00 tque). Apprximately 40% f each sale cvers the cst f the campaign, and the remaining apprximately 10% supprts Raising the Rf s Natinal Hmelessness Initiatives Tque Campaign csts include manufacturing, shipping, media and a prtin f administrative csts All mney raised must be remitted t Raising the Rf by Friday April 13 th, 2018 unless therwise cmmunicated Partner Agencies will receive a letter in July with the estimated tque prceeds earned Cheques will be issued in late September, 2018 after the audit has been cmpleted Past allcatins range frm $500 t $15,000+ fr first-time campaigns the mre agencies sell, the mre they get back! Agency Eligibility Criteria An Applicant must be a registered Canadian charitable rganizatin with a Revenue Canada Charitable Registratin/Business number Prject Eligibility Criteria The prject, prgram, r service must wrk twards lng-term slutins that address r prevent hmelessness Lng-term slutins are prgrams that wrk twards the stabilizatin f husing, skills develpment t maintain husing and/r the preventin f hmelessness - we d nt fund emergency measures such as vernight shelters r sup kitchens unless there are further services prvided t help stabilize peple s lives Examples f Eligible Prgrams Preventin prgrams that incrprate life skills, educatin and/r jb r leadership skills Street utreach prgrams that cnnect peple wh experience hmeless with services that can help them t stabilize their lives (nt nly t prvide fd, clthing, r vernight shelter, as necessary as these services may be) Drp in centres and prgrams, where peple wh are experiencing hmelessness can access the services they need t break the cycle f pverty Services such as fd banks, which enable individuals at-risk f experiencing hmelessness t allcate limited resurces twards ther required living expenses Husing supprt prgrams that help find peple in hstels and temprary shelters suitable, adequate, affrdable and decent lng-term husing - where they are nt put at risk again f lsing their husing Emergency accmmdatin that helps peple wh have been experiencing hmelessness and links them t supprts and apprpriate husing placements Supprt prgrams that help peple at risk maintain their husing 1

2 Prject Selectin Criteria - Criteria fr cnsideratin includes: Prjects and agencies which reflect the missin, visin and values f Raising the Rf The agency's ability t hst a Tque Campaign (vlunteers, prmtinal vehicles, etc.) The agency s backgrund and recent achievements, including prir experience in develping lcal slutins fr the hmeless r thse wh are at risk f becming hmeless. Evidence that the prject is relevant t the needs f their cmmunity Demnstrated lcal cmmunity supprt f the prject Prgrams and decisin-making that reflect the diversity f peple wh are experiencing r at risk f experiencing hmelessness in the gegraphic area and ppulatin served Prjects ffering the best ptential t help peple wh are experiencing r at risk f experiencing hmelessness, t find, develp and/r maintain husing Prjects where Raising the Rf culd play a rle in the imprvement f ther supprts r where lcal funding partnerships wuld be invlved. Organizatins with experience in supervisin, dcumentatin and evaluatin f prject utcmes. Organizatins allwing Raising the Rf t reach its bjective n a natinal level. Partner Agency Agreement (signed) Apprval Terms By signing the Partner Agency Agreement, the Partner Agency Applicant agrees that if apprved as a Partner Agency, the rganizatin will: Supprt the natinal missin f Raising the Rf Cmmit t a minimum rder f 1 case f items/merchandise (100) Once received, merchandise is the respnsibility f the cntracted Partner Agency - Raising the Rf is t be reimbursed at the purchase price fr each item sld - Any unsld items must be reprted t Raising the Rf n later than Thursday, May 31, 2018 and will be held in trust by the Partner Agency fr the fllwing year Use the media templates prvided and always submit Tque Campaign related media pieces t the natinal ffice fr apprval befre they are released Use the psters prvided and always submit Tque Campaign related print pieces t the natinal ffice fr apprval befre they are prduced Acknwledge Raising the Rf and any Natinal Partners in prmtinal, educatinal, r media undertaking, cnnected with use f the prceeds (e.g. verbally, with use f ur lg, in writing) Share cntact infrmatin with ther partner agencies, natinal and reginal partners fr the purpse f cllabratin Sell tques lcally; engage cmmunity grups t participate in lcal events in advance f and n Tque Tuesday (Tuesday, February 6, 2018), as well as cntinue the campaign t its end date Wrk with natinal and reginal partners (as applicable) t prmte and execute a successful Tque Campaign Cllabrate with ther partner agencies by participating in cnference calls in Nvember and January 2

This includes, but is nt limited t, ntifying their Ambassadr f Tque Campaign related events and selling strategies and inviting them t participate, when applicable. We have read and understand the Allcatin f Tque Campaign Funds, Agency Eligibility Criteria, Prject Eligibility Criteria and Infrmatin Required frm Partner Agency Applicants.
