THIS FESTIVAL IS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR RESTAURANTS, CATERERS & MOBILE FOOD VENDORS TO COME UP WITH THEIR MOST CREATIVE BACON-INSPIRED DISHES AND PROMOTE YOUR BUSINESS TO OVER 6,000 BACON ENTHUSIASTS DURING THIS FESTIVAL WEEKEND, ALL WHILE ENJOYING GREAT MUSIC AND OF COURSE THE BEAUTIFUL VIEW OF THE MOUNTAINS! Festival and Menu Guidelines: All menu items must cntain bacn and be a 3-4 unce serving, n mre n less. (sample size) N beverages are t be sld at the vendr tents, the main bar will sell all alchlic and nn-alchlic beverages. Each item yu serve will be exchanged fr ne tasting ticket, t the cnsumer there will be n mnetary value t the ticket. Hwever, fr each ticket yu turn in yu will receive $3. It is imprtant that the item yu are ffering is wrth this price t the cnsumer but cvers the cst f the gds yu are prviding. Prepare between 1,500 2,000 samples fr the festival weekend. It is imprtant that yu nt run ut f prduct. This festival has seen tremendus grwth frm year 1 t year 5 and we nly anticipate it t cntinue t grw. Last year s average was 1,055 samples, but several vendrs did between 1,500-1,900 Farmland Fds is this year s fficial spnsr fr the fd vendr tents and will be prviding up t 45lbs f their bacn at n charge t help with yur bacn creatins. Please indicate hw much yur recipe(s) will call fr n yur applicatin belw. * We will keep an eye n ticket sales leading up t the event and cnvey any infrmatin regarding the need t increase r decrease the amunt f samples yu shuld prepare fr the weekend. *All menus are subject t apprval and availability = NO CASH TO BE ACCEPTED
2 Bth Space Guidelines: A single bth is 10x10. Vendrs are t prvide their wn freestanding display bth, with a minimum f 40lb weights attached t EACH leg and t the canpy in an apprved manner (ex: ratchet straps, high quality rpe). All spaces are n pavement utside. Cncessin trailers will be cnsidered as a duble bth space. Nt all requests fr duble bth spaces will be able t be granted. If exhibitrs request a 10x10 space, the bth must cmpletely fit within the 10x10 parameters r yu will be charged as a duble bth. Pst-festival security is NOT prvided. Parking will be available in the FREE River Run parking lt. Overnight camping is prhibited in this lt. Bth placement is determined by the Event Department and previus placement des nt determine placement fr We take int cnsideratin the needs f the vendr when deciding placement as well as the rder in which an applicatin was received. Yu will be prvided with a map the week leading up t the festival with yur lcatin. Health Department Requirements: All fd vendrs must have a current retail fd license frm the State f Clrad. If yu need t btain an in-state temprary event license cntact Seth at the Summit Cunty Public Health Department at Please include a cpy f yur license with yur applicatin. All fd vendrs must cmplete the Summit Cunty Envirnmental Health Vendr Applicatin alng with yur Fd Exhibitr Applicatin and return bth t the Keystne Neighburhd Cmpany ( KNC ). Insurance Requirements: All fd vendrs must maintain insurance that cmplies with the fllwing requirements: Wrkman s Cmpensatin insurance cvering all emplyees r subcntractrs engaged by Applicant in accrdance with the minimum statutry requirements f the State f Clrad. Cmmercial General Liability Insurance in the minimum amunt f $1,000,000 per ccurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate, including the fllwing cverages: cntractual liability, persnal injury, brad frm prperty damage, independent cntractrs, and premises peratins. Keystne Neighburhd Cmpany, Vail Summit Resrts, Inc., and any ther entity reasnably requested by KNC shall be named as additinal insureds n the cmmercial general liability plicy. Autmbile Liability Insurance in the minimum amunt f $500,000/$1,000,000 bdily injury limits and $500,000 prperty damage limits r cmbined single limits f $1,000,000. Electricity: Vendr shall supply a certificate f insurance t KNC evidencing the abve insurance cverage by n later than May 15, Pwer is available fr an additinal fee and will be prvided nly t thse exhibitrs wh paid fr electricity in advance. Please lk at the electricity frm prvided belw and fill ut accurately with all electrical needs. We d nt prvide extensin crds, pwer strips, cable ramps, etc. If required, yu will need t prvide these items.
3 Clean up: All vendrs are respnsible fr their 10x10 ftprint during the festival weekend. Any debris, grease, bagged garbage, etc. that is left in the area after yu vacate will result in a $100 clean up fee. We encurage yu t bring cardbard r any flr cvering that will help eliminate grease stains n ur cncrete. Set-up & Tear dwn: Set up will take place n Friday, June 23 rd frm 3pm-5pm r Saturday, June 24 th frm 8am-10am. Vendrs will NOT be able t drive in the village at any ther time except fr these designated hurs. Tear dwn will ccur n Sunday, June 25 th after 6pm. Vendrs will nt be able t drive int the village until 6:30pm but may handcart ut their items beginning at 6pm.
