We prmte, engage and steward philanthrpic supprt t fund clinical care, educatin and research fr the preventin and treatment f disease in peple f all ages. The Fundraising Team is respnsible fr develping and maintaining philanthrpic relatinships with individuals, cmmunities and rganisatins thrugh:- Majr gifts and bequests Annual fund prgram including face-t-face and direct mail activities Cmmunity prgrams and events cnducted by Mater Fundatin and Third Party fundraising activities cnducted fr Mater Fundatin by individuals and grups Business develpment and crprate partnerships. Purpse f the Psitin Primary Purpse The purpse f the psitin is t manage the end t end implementatin f Mater Fundatin cmmunity prgrams t ensure the successful delivery f strategic bjectives and financial and nn-financial gals Key Expectatins In particular, the psitin will be expected t: Adpt a cllabrative prject management apprach t practively lead stakehlders respnsible fr delivering elements f the campaign t ensure prgram KPIS are met; Lead in the develpment and implementatin f campaign planning dcuments including Prject Plans, Recruitment, Fundraising and Stewardship (REFS) plans and dnr jurneys fr campaigns assigned t the rle; Wrk with key stakehlders t develp and versee implementatin f peratinal plans frm key internal stakehlders e.g. event lgistics, spnsr management, relatinship management and dnr cmmunicatins and external suppliers including telemarketing and fundraising agencies; Lead in the develpment, cllatin and tracking f campaign budgets and schedules ;

Regular interactin and liaisn with Mater Fundatins peratins teams, third party fundraising team, mid-level and majr gift teams and lttery teams. The psitin als wrks with external fundraising and marketing agencies

3 Psitin Descriptin Page 3 Criteria fr Appintment Skills & Abilities Skills - Fundraising practice: Minimum f three years experience in leading the develpment, management and implementatin f fundraising prgrams and prjects; Experience in managing peer-t-peer fundraising events. Experience in utilising direct and mass marketing techniques in fundraising prgrams including understanding DM methdlgy, segmentatin and messaging; A prven track recrd in managing supprter relatinships and develping acquisitin and retentin strategies; Prject management skills: demnstrated ability t develp clear prject plans and timelines, regular cmmunicatin with stakehlders and mnitr prject prgress within budget and required standards. Prblem slving skills: ability t apprpriately priritise prblems, gather and analyse the right infrmatin t identify symptms and causes and identify the right peple t invlve t reach better cnclusins. Negtiatin skills: capable f listening and assimilating infrmatin frm thers, identifying varius ptential utcmes and cnsequences, presenting persuasive arguments. Writing Skills: ability t use clear cncise language in crrespndence. A thrugh understanding f writing fit fr purpse when preparing written briefs and reprts. Leadership skills: clearly and influentially articulate a visin, encurage and supprt thers while building valued and trusting relatinships with thers. 6 Psitin Descriptin Page 6 Ensure Prject Plans, REFS Plans and dnr jurneys are linked t the verall strategic directin, missin, visin and values f the Mater Fundatin and t the fundraising strategy develped by the Senir Manager Cmmunity Prgrams Ensure REFS have clearly articulated and measureable KPIs t drive the successful delivery f Cmmunity Prgram campaigns; Wrk with key stakehlders t develp and versee implementatin f peratinal plans frm key internal stakehlders e.g. event lgistics, spnsr management, relatinship management and dnr cmmunicatins and external suppliers including telemarketing and fundraising agencies; Manage staff and external agencies respnsible fr the executin f campaigns ensuring they are meeting targets, wrking t budget and t schedule; Help t facilitate the infrmatin required by these teams t execute campaigns fr example wrking with Operatins Team (DPS) t ensure timely delivery f data; Identify and truble sht issues and rad blcks and identify cntingency plans when required; Identify pprtunities fr imprvement and wrk with the Senir Manager Cmmunity Prgrams t execute these in current and future campaigns. Lead in the develpment, cllatin and tracking f campaign budgets Assist in the develpment f budgets fr Cmmunity Prgrams Track prgress t budgets thrughut the campaign t ensure incme and expenses are n track; Identify and evaluate new fundraising pprtunities and initiatives Practively identify and evaluate new pprtunities t enhance current fundraising prgrams based n factual market evidence. Crprate Respnsibilities Establish and maintain effective self-management and develpment strategies Initiate and participate in timely and effective perfrmance develpment meetings with yur manager; Engage in relevant learning and develpment pprtunities and ensure return n investment is achieved and dcumented; Keep abreast f fundraising related develpments acrss the nt-fr-prfit sectr by studying relevant literature, mnitring cmpetitr activity and by actively engaging with prfessinal bdies and / r relevant industry assciatins.
