3 KEY TASKS EXPECTED OUTCOMES Financial Planning Maintain payrll datasets fr budgeting (including steps and salary bands) Financial Analysis and Reprting Statutry & Treaty f Waitangi bligatins T recgnise individual respnsibility fr wrkplace Health & Safety under the Health and Safety at Wrk Act 2015 Maintain establishment FTE (nursing r nn-nursing) and reprting n a timely basis Review and maintain cver mdels in cnjunctin with the service Finance Managers and Management Accuntants Prvide payrll analysis t infrm frecasts and financial budgets. Assist the Deputy Chief Financial Officer Prvider deliver high quality financial reprting by the prvisin f timely and accurate payrll reprting n perfrmance against budget including: Frtnightly payrll analysis and reprting Maintain register f all changes in emplyment agreements and quantify impacts f settled and unsettled agreements Mnthly payrll accruals (including statutry days, unpaid days etc and relevant cllective emplyment agreement accruals) Financial and nn-financial metrics (Trendcare, watches, vlume trend impacts etc) Assist the Deputy Chief Financial Officer Prvider t prvide General Managers and Service Managers with infrmatin that allws them t understand their service. This includes trend and variance analysis and mre detailed analysis beynd regular mnthly reprting t infrm service imprvements. Crdinate all payrll analysis and reprting infrmatin t ensure it is easily and cherently accessible. Interpret and cmmunicate financial data t nnfinancial managers. Cntinuusly identify pprtunities fr efficiencies within the Prvider Arm. Ensures the prfessinal and plitical integrity f WDHB by carrying ut all functins in cmpliance f the Treaty f Waitangi and by demnstrating a serius cmmitment t keeping the treaty alive. Shws sensitivity t cultural cmplexity in the wrkfrce and patient ppulatin Cntribute t a safe and healthy wrkplace at WDHB by: Fllwing & cmplying with H&S plicies & prcesses & applying them t their wn wrk activities, including using/wearing Persnal Prtective Equipment as required. Participating in activities directed at preventing harm & prmting well-being in the wrkplace Identifying, reprting & self-managing hazards where apprpriate Early and accurate reprting f incidents at wrk and raising issues f cncern when identified. Experience in financial reprting and analysis. Budget preparatin. Knwledge f the implicatins f the Treaty f Waitangi with a cmmitment t Biculturalism Skills/Knwledge/Behaviur Well-develped interpersnal skills. Ability t understand the business visin and pririty needs Excellent written cmmunicatin skills fr prducing reprts.
