1 CONTRACTOR INDUCTION USER INSTRUCTIONS MAIN CONTRACTOR If yu are a New Cntractr t ECU yu will need t uplad yur cmpany details first: 1. Select : Online Safety inductin 2. Select: New Cntractr 3. Select: Create Accunt And fllw the prmpts. Yu will then need t uplad yur insurance infrmatin please have yur certificates f currency ldged electrnically. 4. Weblink t ECU Cntractr Inductin: Select: Online Safety Inductin The fllwing page will activate Select: Create Accunt (yellw arrw/wide arrw) Remember t chse a passwrd yu will remember Be aware that yur lgin will be yur surname and then initial eg CitizenJ The system is case sensitive s remember if yu have used capitals r lwer case 1

2 5. Whenever yu want t re enter the ECU Cntractr Inductin page g t: and use same user ID and passwrd 6. The fllwing page will appear nce yu have selected Create Accunt Enter yur details Chse a passwrd yu will remember must be at least 6 8 digits Keep yur passwrd safe Yur lgin will be yur surname and then initial (eg CitizenJ) The system is case sensitive s remember if yu have used capitals r lwer case Select: Create Accunt 7. The fllwing screen will appear There is a drp dwn arrw in : User Type, ( See User Type Definitins belw) Cntractr type (the type f industry yu are in) Cmpany Name (yur business name) Add a New Cmpany (New main cntractr) ECU Respnsible Officer (the persn issuing the wrk). These must all be cmpleted (page 4) 2

(Pht ID) The persn subcntracted r emplyed by main cntractr electrical/mechanical and will be perfrming islatins n an ECU wrksite NB: an Electrical/Mechanical Cntractr cannt undertake any ther inductin this includes temprary access permits/visitrs befre entering an ECU wrksite. If an electrical/mechanical cntractr cmes n site withut an inductin refer t respnsible fficer immediately. (Pht ID) This is exclusively fr ECU inhuse cntractrs i.e. fd utlets Hairdressers etc (n ID) Persn invited nt campus t undertake sme wrk ver a shrt perid f time nt invlved in using plant and equipment OR Cntractrs/subcntractrs arriving n an ECU wrk site wh have nt cmpleted an apprpriate inductin (valid fr 60 wrking days nly) EXCLUDING Electrical/Mechanical ) (n ID) 3

The cmpleted page shuld lk smething like the ne belw T enter New Cntractr cmpany details Click Plus + MAIN CONTRACTOR UPLOADING YOUR INSURANCES As a main cntractr/main cnsultant yu will need t uplad yur current insurance details yu will need yur certificates f currency fr : Prduct and public liability t the value f $10 millin. Wrker Cmpensatin if yu emply staff r sub cntractrs Prfessinal indemnity (cnsultants nly) Cmpany Vehicle insurance nly (Nt persnal) Certificate type: This is a drp dwn bx Chse the type f insurance frm the certificate type drpdwn bx, enter the requested infrmatin, g t the Brwse fr file buttn and uplad yur Certificate f Currency frm yur cmputer Repeat this exercise fr all current insurances if applicable. 4

6 ELECTRICAL/MECHANICAL CONTRACTORS 9. The fllwing pages will activate and nly have t be cmpleted by Electrical Mechanical Cntractrs as they hld special licenses and tickets Please ensure yu insert all license/ticket names and numbers and prvide the expiry date 6
