Federal State Statistics Service (Rsstat) In 2016 Rsstat in cperatin with the federal executive authrities cnducted an analysis f data availability n SDGs indicatrs and distributin f rles and respnsibilities fr SDGs indicatrs between the Russian ministries and agencies. In June 2017 in accrdance with the Decree f the Gvernment f the Russian Federatin Rsstat is authrized t crdinate the activities f the gvernment bdies n the cllectin and submissin f fficial statistical infrmatin n SDG indicatrs f the Russian Federatin t the internatinal rganizatins in accrdance with the internatinal standards. 2 1

5 METHODOLOGICAL ELABORATION OF SDGs INDICATORS In 2010 the Scientific and Methdlgical Cuncil f Rsstat was re-established. The Cuncil is the deliberative and advisry bdy f Rsstat that is perating n a vluntary basis. The aim f the Cuncil is t discuss and prepare recmmendatins n strategic develpment f the Russian state statistics as well as t prvide expert and advisry supprt t research prjects f Rsstat and ther subjects f fficial statistical accunting in the field f statistical methdlgy and educatin. The Cuncil cnsists f the senir management f Rsstat, highly ualified specialists frm different authrities, scientific and educatinal institutins.
