The GNWT prvided the Arctic Energy Alliance (AEA) with funding t supprt: the installatin f mnitring equipment n Slar systems and/r the repair f existing Slar systems. AEA is seeking Electrical Cntractrs t supply and install Slar PV n-line mnitring system and assess r repair select Slar PV Systems. Please submit a separate qutatin fr each f the Slar RFQ#s listed in the Table 1 belw yu wish t respnd t. There is a data lgger n this system. It is a blue bx in the band manager s ffice. It is labelled Symphnie NRG, Internet Enabled It has 2 SD cards It was pwered by 2 D cells, but they expired in 2013 and have nw been replaced the lgger pwers up, but the SD cards are n lnger frmatted At this pint please qute installatin f n-line mnitring nly. Install Slar PV Mnitring & Prvide Training The System Owners invlved in this prject are partnering with AEA based n their submissin f an Expressin f Interest and have signed Partnership Agreements with AEA t ecnmize and expedite the successful cmpletin f the prjects. The successful Cntractr will enter int a cntract with each System Owner. In additin t the abve prject-specific requirements, the cntractrs shall als: Ensure they are cvered by the fllwing Insurances: Wrkers Cmpensatin: prir t cmmencing the first cntract, the Cntractr shall prvide evidence f cmpliance with wrkers cmpensatin legislatin. At any time during the term f the prject, when requested by an Owner r a representative, the Cntractr shall prvide such evidence f cmpliance by the Cntractr r Subcntractrs. Page 4 f 7

5 General Liability Insurance: shall be with limits f nt less than $2,000,000 per ccurrence and with a prperty damage deductible nt exceeding $2,500. T achieve the desired limit, umbrella, r excess liability insurance may be used. Cntractrs Equipment Insurance: All risks cntractrs equipment insurance cvering cnstructin machinery and equipment used by the Cntractr fr the perfrmance f the wrk, shall be in a frm acceptable and shall nt allw subrgatin claims by the insurer against the Owner. Ensure wrk perfrmed meets all applicable Cde requirements; Be respnsible fr arranging all required permits, and inspectins; Dispse f any remved equipment in an apprpriate manner, including returning electrnics t the apprpriate the GNWT recycling dept; Page 5 f 7

7 Qute Evaluatin Qutes shall be evaluated and rated by representatives f AEA and, if requested, the system wner, using predetermined criteria. Each criterin is given a pre-assigned weight, as utlined n the Qute Rating Schedule. Each criterin is rated n a scale f 0 t 10. Each criterin s rating is then multiplied by the assigned weight t yield a ttal fr that element. The scres fr each element are added t get a ttal scre ut f 1,000. This prcedure is repeated fr each f the respnsive qutatins. The highest ttal scre will determine the qute that ptentially prvides the best value. The AEA and System Owners are nt bund t accept the lwest cst qutatin and reserve the right t accept the qutatin which, in the pinin f the AEA, best meets their established criteria prviding the best verall value. The AEA reserves the right nt t chse any f the qutatins submitted and nt t award. The AEA reserves the right t enter int negtiatins with ne r mre f the tp-ranked Cntractr(s). The Cntractr(s) will receive an invitatin t enter int direct cntract negtiatins with the AEA r the System Owners. These negtiatins may include increasing the scpe f the cntract.
