Gal Statement #1: Standardize curriculum by getting industrial seal f apprval such as the AWEA (American Wind Energy Assciatin), ISA (Industrial Sciety f America) r ther industry seal f apprval (AC Strategic Plan thrugh 2015: Strategy 1.3). Outcme/Objective Statement Review utcmes using industry, faculty and student input frm survey s and feedback (AC Strategic Plan thrugh 2015: Task ). Results (Prvide Numbers and Percentages fr Quantitative Data) All students will receive the same basic instructin frm all instructrs. Labs will be updated in bth equipment and prcedures. Curses curriculum and labs will fllw industrial standards f cntent and activity. Prvide Previus Data/Result Submitted dcuments t AWEA were submitted but n actin has taken place as f this date. Students are cmpleting curses with varying levels f knwledge and experience. Students may nt be jb ready and fully trained in instrumentatin cntrl r renewable energy. Utilize an industrial standard curriculum and lab activities fr each class, fllw an adpted textbk r manual fr all cmmn sectins f classes and labs. Repair, purchase, r implement new lab equipment

Integrate new technlgy i.e. SCADA in bth instrumentatin and renewable energy classes. Incrprate simulatin int curses where technlgy is satisfactry fr replacement f physical equipment. Students taking the cre curriculum can either chse Wind r Slar as their fcus f study. Fur new slar specific curses are being develped with the intrductin f the first in the Spring 2012 semester.
