( CFP Bard ). The CFP certificatin is a vluntary certificatin; n federal r state law r regulatin requires financial planners t hld CFP certificatin. It is recgnized in the United States and a number f ther cuntries fr its (1) high standard f prfessinal educatin; (2) stringent cde f cnduct and standards f practice; and (3) ethical requirements that gvern prfessinal engagements with clients.
