5 Lgin Instructins cnt This will bring yu t yur hme page where yu decide what yu are trying t accmplish with the requisitin. The staff system is brken int tw sectins: Psitin Management (range header) Applicant Tracking (blue header) 5
6 What are yu trying t d? When t use the Psitin Management: t request audit fr a new psitin (withut an SAP psitin number) fr reclassificatin f an existing psitin (title change n psitin that exists in SAP) fr the prmtin/transfer f an emplyee t a different psitin (a prmtin mves emplyee t higher pay grade and a transfer is a lateral mve t the same pay grade) When t use the Applicant Tracking: t create a jb psting frm previus psting t create a jb psting frm jb descriptin after an audit is cmpleted and apprved yu must create a jb psting in Applicant Tracking s the jb can be psted. Imprtant: Make sure yur Current Grup is in HIRING MANAGER status. 6
7 U nderstanding the hmepage links The Inbx gives a brief verview f any requests that require actin by the user. The Watch List displays any items yu have flagged t fllw. The Shrtcuts are quick links t assist starting yur requisitin. The Useful Links are links that are available t be used thrughut the hiring prcess. 7
8 The fllwing slides walk yu thrugh hw t cmplete the prmtin/transfer f an emplyee t a different psitin. Imprtant: Yu will need t knw the psitin number f the psitin the emplyee is being prmted/transferred t, yu will start with the psitin they are mving t and wrk backwards. Yu cannt d a requisitin n yurself, it must be created by smene else 8
9 Prmtin/Transfer Requisitin G t Psitin Management (range header) Psitin Descriptins Click n Staff. This will pen up all f the psitins assigned t yu. G t the psitin the emplyee is mving t and click n the Psitin Descriptin Number t pen it. Once it pens, yu will have the ptin fr a Regular Staff Prmtin and Transfer. If yu are part f VPAA then yu chse Academic Staff Prmtin and Transfer. 9
10 Prmtin/Transfer R equisitin cnt Click n Start t begin the prcess. If there is smene seated in that psitin it will ppulate that persn. If nt it will say the psitin is vacant. Find the persn yu are prmting r transferring and click n the radi buttn in frnt f the name and click n Select User, this will seat the persn in that psitin. Then, click n Next 10
11 Prmtin/Transfer R equisitin cnt As yu see n the left hand menu everything has a green check mark n it except Budget inf. In this instance, yu wuld g back t the Budget sectin t crrect any errrs. 11

Once yu have cmpleted everything and have all green check marks yu can mve the requisitin thrugh the nrmal apprval flw. Be sure t send the signed Backgrund Frm as it is required befre the prmtin/transfer can be cmpleted. Yu will be ntified by HR Emplyment nce everything is dne. 13
