Cmmunity Based Events and Prjects are events rganized and presented by vlunteers fr the purpse f raising funds fr Atlanta Rnald McDnald Huses. Since pening ur drs in 1979, ARMHC has served mre than 49,000 families. With yur help, we can cntinue t serve families in need. 2 Getting Started 1. Step ne: Get Organized Set a fundraising gal and decide wh, what, when and where. Step three: Cmplete the third party fundraising registratin frm 4. Step fur: Apprval prcess Upn apprval frm ARMHC, the next steps t prceed with yur event are: Submit all marketing materials fr review and apprval by ARMHC marketing team. Supprt & Resurces: ARMHC can prvide yu with brchures, dnatin envelpes and ther marketing materials t help supprt yur event. 5. Step five: Finalizing yur dnatin Please submit the full dnatin within 30 days f the event. 3 ARMHC Guidelines The fllwing guidelines have been established t prtect the name and reputatin f ARMHC. 1. Event Incme If ARMHC will nt be receiving 100% f the prceeds frm the event, the exact percentage f the prceeds t benefit ARMHC must be clearly stated in all prmtinal materials. If yur event is cllecting tys, bks, educatinal items, ect. ARMHC can nly accept brand new and unwrapped items. **Please nte: Under n circumstance may any individual keep any prtin f the prceeds as prfit r cmpensatin fr rganizing the event. 2. Event Marketing ARMHC is extremely sensitive t the use f ur lg and missin. Any materials created must be apprved in advance all invitatins, advertisements r ther prmtinal materials related t the event where pictures f ARMHC families, ur lg r its entities will be reviewed. 3. Licenses and Insurances Events must cmply with all federal, state and lcal laws gverning charitable fundraising, gifts reprting and special events. **Please nte that gaming events such as raffles require a license. We must receive a cpy f yur insurance certificate (if applicable) 5 business days prir t event. 4. Ntificatin Prcess Yu must prmptly advise ARMHC if the event plans change frm what was riginally apprved. 5. The Applicatin Prcess The applicatin must be cmpleted and returned t ARMHC at least 30 days prir t the prpsed event date. Hwever, we can accept applicatins 12 mnths befre an event. ARMHC retains the right t revke r terminate any authrizatin we may give t use the ARMHC name and lg.
