1 Jshua Tree Cmmunity, San Bernardin Cunty Overview The third f three wrkshps fr the Jshua Tree Cmmunity Plan was held at the Cmmunity Center n July 21 st, 2016 frm 6:30 t 8:30 P.M. During the third wrkshp, cmmunity members were asked t review and priritize the draft gal and bjective statements created by the prject team frm feedback received during the Meeting 2 exercises. Attendees were prvided with materials frm the past tw meetings fr reference, including a summary f all gal and bjective cmments frm Meeting 2 as well as the SWOT analysis frm Meeting 1. Maps f the existing land use and prpsed land use changes were als prvided fr meeting attendees t review and cmment. After the intrductry presentatin, meeting attendees participated in table discussins regarding whether the gal and bjective statements were accurate and shuld be incrprated int the cmmunity plan. After table discussins, cmmunity members were given dllar bills and cins and asked t allcate them t priritize their tp bjectives. Each dllar bill represented additinal funding t be given and cins represented vlunteer hurs willing t help t achieve the bjectives. Dllars and cins were then tallied at the end f the exercise and the meeting attendees culd see what bjectives they wuld like t allcate additinal funds t, shuld they becme available, and what bjectives they wuld be willing t vlunteer their time t cmplete.
