2 Mission & Impact Statements Mission Spring Back Recycling provides a sustainable business model to organizations that serve the disenfranchised through job creation and that benefits the environment through waste diversion. We have now grown to offer that same service across the country in Denver, CO, Tacoma, WA, Charlotte, NC, and Salt Lake City, UT. 2

3 Programs Programs Mattress Recycling Description Spring Back Recycling fully recycles old mattresses by disassembling each unit and selling or distributing its component parts (metal, foam, wood) to scrap buyers, replacing centuries of decomposition in landfills with an immediate use in the economy. In our waste diversion efforts, Spring Back also pursues a social mission of providing employment to disenfranchised men looking to spring back into society.
