This is the nly time that cmments can be made n the envirnmental impact statement. The Cunty Hearing Examiner hearing scheduled fr Wednesday, December 12th at 1:30pm at the Cunty Public Wrks Building (the Cunty HE is hearing this issue since the City HE has a cnflict f interest). A new trip generatin letter has been psted t the City website t cmpare the site plan with the Cnnectin vs. Withut the Cnnectin. We apprved $300 fr awards. Lng discussin f changing the CA/CD Cmmittee t ad-hc n decisin. I will jin that Cmmittee. We will ask Gerge Dahl t give a reprt t the CA n current and histrical status. Need t cnsider hw CDBG funds will be distributed in the new district mdel, s far District 2 hasn t cnvened a grup fr fund distributin. There was a lng discussin f the infill changes generally mre density in lder neighbrhds with multi-family husing znes. There was a retreat n Octber 8 that highlighted cmmunity resurces and ptential partnerships well-attended and well-received. The Building Strnger Neighbrhds Tlkit is cming sn. N decisin yet n spending f neighbrhd traffic calming dllars, but many neighbrhd prpsals have been submitted. (SNC submitted an applicatin fr intersectin at 44 th and Freya fr imprved visibility.) Neighbrhds had 26 park events last year, and all fees were waived. New members were elected t the Administrative cmmittee. The PeTT cmmittee is having a Traffic Calming Plicy Wrkshp n Tuesday, Nvember 27 frm 6:00 7:30PM at the West Central Cmmunity Center.

5 Meeting Ntes Cmmunity Assembly Meeting n Octber 4, 2018 Submitted by Andy Hye Candace Mumm said 94% f the citizenry is cncerned abut Prperty crimes. There is funding fr ten new plice fficers wh will assist with prperty crimes. Budget is clse but the Retired Firefighters fund will defer paybacks. 94 plice cars are needed. The city is wrking n challenging intersectins, including thse n 29 th Avenue. Facebk ads are pssible fr next year frm Budget Cmmittee. The excess Cleanup Prgram csts $217,500 r $7,500 per neighbrhd. Dump passes are still ppular. 55,000 punds were cllected at the latest Cleaning frm the Crridr Audubn- Dwnriver The Building Strnger Neighbrhds Facebk page is nw live. There is still a struggle with City Parks regarding Basic vs. Special events. We need a liaisn persn t represent the CA n the CHHS cmmittee it is a vting psitin. Applicatin/Nminatins are still pen.
