3 Abut Venturefest Nw in its fifth year, Venturefest has develped int annual event t act as a catalyst by bringing the key elements f innvatin - innvatrs, investrs, entrepreneurs and academics - tgether. The aim f Venturefest is t strengthen cnnectins between these key elements, as well as strengthening cnnectins with lcal partners and natinal bdies such as Innvate UK and the Intellectual Prperty Office, and thers supprting innvatin and grwth. At the centre f the event is an Innvatin Shwcase Cmpetitin, which launches a few mnths prir t the event and culminates in a final cmpetitin n the day f the event, when the winners are chsen. Fr 2018 we will aim t attract and engage with 100 applicants t the cmpetitin, delivering: 50 shrtlisted businesses at the quarter final stage 20 Semi finalists 10 Finalists 3 Winners Requirement T prvide event management services and cnsultancy advice t deliver Venturefest 2018, including the prvisin f full nsite management befre, during and after the event. Venturefest 2018 will be held n the 13 September 2018 and the venue will be Manchester Central. Brief It is expected that the successful cmpany will carry ut, as a minimum: Create a detailed prject plan utlining the majr milestnes thrughut the prject. Prduce and distribute regular status reprts n the prject thrughut and ensure all tasks are cmpleted as per the detailed prject plan. Prvide strategic input int all aspects f the event, including ideas and cntent. Supprt The Grwth Cmpany s marketing. Liaise with the venue n all aspects including access, H&S, timings etc. Liaise with delegates and exhibitrs. Manage guest bkings and can be the main RSVP pint fr all guest queries Manage and liaise with all external suppliers. Onsite management: Oversee the technical build and ensure that all suppliers, exhibitrs and the venue are delivering against ur bjectives and timelines. Wrk with BGH/GC t liaise with the exhibitrs, spnsrs & speakers t ensure all f their technical and event requirements are lked after including H&S. Invitatin t Requirements and Ntes Page 3 f 5

4 Manage the guest registratin thrughut the day, managing any queries. Be the main pint f cntact with the venue re: setup, catering & rm crdinatin. Perid f delivery and Budget Oversee all flr management, guest management and technical prductin. The activity will be delivered frm April t September The budget fr this service is up t 15,000 (incl. VAT). Applicatin Please cmplete the attached Qutatin Frm including any appendices. Only Qutatin Frms cmpleted in full with the requested appendices will be cnsidered. Scring f Quality Questins Respnses t each f the qutatin questins will be scred ut f a maximum f five marks, using a standard methd f scring as set ut in the table belw: Classificatin Scre Scring Guidance Exceptinal 5 Addresses the majrity f the requirements at a very high level.
