CONTEST FOR TRAVEL AGENCIES OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES AND REGULATIONS The Where will yu Fly the Flag? cntest fr travel agencies (the Cntest ) is brught t yu by Air Canada (the Cntest Spnsr ). The Cntest starts n May 2 nd, 2018 at 12:01 a.m. EST and clses n May 30 th, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. EST (hereinafter, the Cntest Perid ). 1. Eligibility The Cntest is pen t all Canadian residents having attained the legal age f majrity in their respective prvince r territry f residence prir t entering the Cntest and wh are: (i) permanent full time emplyees f IATA & TIDS apprved travel agencies in gd standing with Air Canada; and (ii) wh hld a valid IATA Canadian Travel Industry I.D. card (the Eligible Participants ). Emplyees, representatives r agents f Air Canada and its subsidiaries and affiliates, media partners, advertising and prmtinal agencies, and members f the immediate family (parents, children, siblings and spuse, regardless f where they are dmiciled) f any f the afrementined and persns with whm any f the afrementined are dmiciled are nt eligible t enter the Cntest. 2. Hw t participate in the Cntest NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. All Eligible Participants wh prvide the Air Canada s Glbal netwrk s destinatin they mst want t visit during the Cntest Perid are eligible t enter. In rder t enter, Eligible Participants must submit the destinatin they mst want t visit at aircanada.cm/agents by clicking n the Cntest banner and filling ut the Cntest entry frm. Duplicate destinatins are nt permitted, nly ne submissin per travel agent is allwed. Eligible Participants can als enter the Cntest by mailing a 50-wrd essay alng with their name, address, telephne number and address t: Air Canada s Where will yu Fly the Flag? 2 3. Prizes There are thirty five (35) prizes (the Prizes ) and tw (2) Grand Prizes (the Grand Prizes ) t be wn (ne fr the travel agent and ne fr the travel agency). Apprximate value f each prize is CDN $1, Prizes: Cnsisting f ne (1) $200 Hudsn s Bay Gift Card. Value f each prize is CDN $200. 3 Additinal Terms and Cnditins with respect t the Ecnmy and Air Canada Signature Class tickets Eligible flights must be flights perated by Air Canada, Air Canada Ruge r under the Air Canada Express brand. Flights perated by ther airlines including Star Alliance member airlines, cdeshare and interline flights are excluded. Flight reservatin is subject t availability and blackut dates belw. Travel must be cmpleted n r befre June 30 th, Travel des nt qualify fr Aerplan mileage accumulatin r fr mileage accumulatin in any ther frequent flyer prgram. N changes permitted t reservatins nce date f travel is cnfirmed and tickets have been issued. Prize winners are respnsible fr all fuel, insurance, surcharges, taxes, fees and ther applicable charges with a credit card at time f bking. The Where will yu Fly the Flag? cntest fr travel agents will be administered with the federal and prvincial tax guidelines. The prize cnstitutes taxable incme, except in limited circumstances. The travel agent is slely respnsible fr the reprting and payment f any applicable taxes with respect t any prize received under the Where will yu Fly the Flag? cntest. Air Canada will reprt the prize amunt n a T4A r such ther prescribed tax frms. Claiming f Prizes In rder t be declared a winner and be able t claim a Prize, the Eligible Participant selected by randm draw will be cntacted by by the Cntest Spnsr r ne f its agents r representatives, shrtly fllwing the draw and must cnfirm acceptance as a selected Eligible Participant within three (3) calendar days f cntact. If the selected Eligible Participant cannt be cntacted, anther Eligible Participant will be selected by way f randm draw. Befre being declared a winner, each selected Eligible Participant will be required t answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing questin and sign a release and waiver frm cnfirming, withut limitatin, that: He/she cmplies with the eligibility requirements; he/she has read the Cntest rules and regulatins and cmplies cmpletely; he/she accepts the Prize as awarded; he/she acknwledges the Cntest Spnsr s right t publish his/her picture, name and city f residence withut cmpensatin ther than the Prize ffered; he/she successfully answers a time-limited mathematical skill-testing questin; and he/she releases and agrees t hld harmless f all liability the Cntest Spnsr, its subsidiaries and affiliates, media partners, advertising, prmtinal agencies and each f the freging entities directrs, fficers, emplyees, cntractrs and agents. Selected Eligible Participants will be required t validate their IATA identificatin details prir t selecting their flights. (The IATA ID card is required t travel in the United States, sun and internatinal destinatins). The prmtinal cde will be valid fr the winner and a cmpanin (the name f the cmpanin cannt be changed nce the tickets are issued). 6. General Terms and Cnditins Cntest Spnsr will nt be held respnsible fr any and all telephne r internet interruptins, unclear telephne r messages and any late/incmplete/errneusly cmpletely Prize claims r release and waiver frms. All entries are subject t verificatin by the Cntest Spnsr and may be disqualified if they are received utside f the Cntest Perid, are incmplete, illegible, irregular, phtcpied r therwise reprduced, submitted thrugh illicit means r if they cntain any false statements, r d nt cnfrm t r satisfy t any cnditin f these Cntest rules and regulatins. Eligible Participants agree t be bund by all decisins f the Cntest Spnsr regarding the Cntest which shall be final and binding in all respects. Eligible Participants agree that the Cntest Spnsr is nt liable fr any incrrect r inaccurate transcriptin f entry infrmatin r fr any errr r malfunctin f any kind in cnnectin with the Cntest. If the Cntest is nt capable f running as planned fr any reasn, including tampering, unauthrized interventin, fraud, technical failures, r any ther cause, the Cntest Spnsr reserves the right, at its sle discretin, t, withut advance ntice, terminate r suspend the Cntest, in whle r in part, r mdify it in any way, withut any further bligatins t Eligible Participants. Furthermre, if the Cntest Spnsr determines, at its sle discretin, that any entry cmprmises the integrity f the Cntest, the Cntest Spnsr reserves the right t disqualify the entry at issue r terminate the Cntest in its entirety withut any further bligatins t Eligible Participants.
