12 Assign Each Parcel a Flood Risk Category These categories encompass all the various flood risk states a parcel can reside in. Types of Risk Number Category Description 6 FW Increase Areas where ethe regulatory Floodway has increased horizontally o 5 SFHA Increase Areas where the regulatory Special Flood Hazard Area has increased horizontally 4 FW Decrease Areas where the regulatory Floodway has decreased horizontally 3 SFHA Decrease Areas where the regulatory Special Flood Hazard Area has decreased horizontally 2 Zone Change Areas where the Flood Zone designation has increased or decreased regulatory level. Ex Zone A --> Zone AE 1 None Parcels where the flood risk status has not changed.
