As part f its plicy f cmmitment t the Lcal Cmmunity, NORDOTEL has the bligatin t cntribute t the imprvement and greater well-being f the scial envirnment in which it perates, creating pprtunities fr ecnmic and scial develpment. 2 2. Integratin Strict respect f lcal culture is guaranteed. Knwledge f the destinatin is prmted thrugh thematic and prmtinal activities and is shared with custmers thrugh infrmatin presented in the centre. We take int accunt the natural value f the envirnment in which the htel is lcated, and we respect the surrunding lcal cmmunities and ecsystems, natural parks and special prtectin areas. 3. Cllabratin and dialgue We maintain a dialgue with the scial and institutinal actrs in San Bartlmé de Tirajana twn cuncil thrugh the Management Teams, prmting cperatin and cllabratin as regards: Cmpliance with lcal and reginal legislatin relating t the envirnment, sciety, human resurces, etc. Implementatin f plicies fr saving natural resurces, water, energy, etc. Mnitring, thrugh the websites f the San Bartlmé de Tirajana twn cuncil, majr annuncements and relevant news in rder t assess pprtunities t imprve and wrk twards the same gals. 4. Purchases The centre s plicy is t use, wherever pssible, prducts and services prvided by the suppliers which cmply with the centre s sustainability plicies, favring thse which als have less f an impact n the envirnment. Reducing pllutin frm transprt is a majr cnsideratin n which the chice f lcal suppliers is based wherever pssible. 70% f ur suppliers are lcal, increasing this figure by the end f 2017 by 2% cmpared t the previus year. 5. Emplyment Thrugh its Crprate Plicy, NORDOTEL is cmmitted t cmplying with emplyment cntracts, in accrdance with the current legislatin, prmting the integratin f the lcal cmmunity thrugh a high percentage f jbs ffered. In accrdance with ur sustainability plicy, we are cmmitted t the preventing pllutin and cmplying with the envirnmental legislatin within the framewrk f cntinuus imprvement. Therefre, every year we endeavur t measure, alleviate and ffset the impact f ur activities n the envirnment, implementing plicies t save energy, water and resurces in general and making ecnmic savings in the wrkplace. Electricity: The average cnsumptin f the center in the perid is Kwh / pax / night with a maximum value f in 2017 (2016 is nt cnsidered as the htel was clsed fr a few mnths). It is bserved that the abslute cnsumptin is lwer in the last year, hwever per client and night is higher, bth cases in relatin t the data fr 2015, which is why the need t reduce cnsumptin by 2% has been marked as an bjective and 5%, which is reached in sme cases. 4 / 5

5 Gas: The average cnsumptin f the center in the perid is 5.42 Kwh / pax / night with a maximum value f 6.27 in The cnsumptin in the bilers fr heating the ACS, has increased, which is why the center has raised actins n slar panels due t its lw perfrmance. Water: The average water cnsumptin f the center in the perid is 0.23 m3 / pax / night with a maximum value f 0.24 in Fr this year the cnsumptin data n irrigatin are very psitive Hwever, fr the swimming pls, a 3% reductin in cnsumptin has been achieved. 8. Cnclusins actin plan The main /CULTURAL AND ECONOMIC aspects and actins t be taken int accunt fr the next financial year are given belw, as agreed by the Centre Directr and the Centre Envirnmental Manager, with the aim f enabling us t act in line with ur sustainability plicy and meet the requirements f the TRAVELIFE standard.
