2 DON TAPA ALTER EGO. Don Tapa & Alter Ego represent a celebration of universal flavours, craft driven booze and a go to place for the people of Western Australia. After starting life as a popular open-air South American restaurant out of a shipping container in the Fremantle Port, Don Tapa has added a craft cocktail bar and is now housed inside a Fremantle warehouse, The Mantle, that would otherwise have been turned into a storage facility. The Mantle is an activity hub in the new East End of Fremantle; a place where people come together to eat, drink, work and play. Set inside a beautiful historic Warehouse and transformed with the use of innovative structures, materials and art.
3 DON TAPA ALTER EGO. With talented South American chefs at the helm, our sea container kitchen will take you on a worldly journey showcasing culinary techniques and produce indigenous to Brazil, Peru & Colombia. We have a proud food combination that is hard to come by. Don Tapa at The Mantle is a convenient and unique destination for both corporate and social functions, with close proximity to the Fremantle City Hub.
4 CASUAL AREAS. Functions for up to 50 guests for group sit-down dinners. Suitable for almost any celebration we will customise to your requirements. Pre-select options from our Chefs Menus/Platters menu. Beverage options also available and no minimum spend necessary.
5 THE MEZZANINE. Functions for up to 28 guests for sit-down dinners. Flexible to cater for any corporate event or social celebration, this is a sectioned off, intimate space reserved solely for your function. With close access to the Alter Ego bar, you can pre-select beverage options as well as platters and set menus. There is no minimum spend required for this space.
6 ENTIRE RESTAURANT. Functions for up to 120 guests. Personalise your function by booking the entire Restaurant. Select from a range of platters, set menus and beverage options. Have the assurance that your private function will be a memorable one. *Closed venue functions are subject to a minimum spend that can vary depending on the day of the week or time of year.
7 SET MENU. DISCOVERY MENU $60PP RECOMMENDED FOR 10 OR MORE PEOPLE Chef s selection menu for large groups priced at $60 per person consisting of 6 tapas dishes including dessert. Discovery Menus are based on seasonal produce. Management will send you the current Discovery Menu for your perusal. Please identify dietary requirements prior to your booking ASADO $400 RECOMMENDED FOR 10 PEOPLE A Fremantle sharing experience with a selection of slow cooked meats from our grill and smoker. Served with roast vegetables, seasonal greens and condiments. You are welcome to have more or less than 10 people, however the amount of food and the price do not change.

All accounts must be paid by the date of the above function unless previously arranged with Don Tapa management. A minimum number of guests must be confirmed 5 working days prior to the function. If the booking is cancelled, the client may be liable to pay up to 80% of the minimum charge (see Terms and Conditions). If the minimum spend for said allocation within the venue is not met, the additional charge will become room hire fee and will be payable on the completion of the function. In the event of damage to The Mantle property you will be held accountable. The minimum spends does not include audio equipment/flowers or any other equipment hired on behalf of the client.
12 TERMS & CONDITIONS. TENTATIVE BOOKINGS Tentative bookings may be held for a period of 7 days. Once this time has lapsed we will endeavour to contact you, but if unsuccessful we are under no obligation to hold the booking. BOOKING CONFIRMATION Each function booked at Don Tapa is confirmed only when a Booking Agreement (attached) is completed, signed and deposit paid. A deposit must be paid at least 14 days prior to the function date. In the event that the deposit is not paid before this time, Don Tapa has the right to terminate function plans. Payment of the function is to be made in full at the conclusion of the function unless organised with management prior. FUNCTION DEPOSIT A deposit is required to confirm each function and the amount will be agreed upon prior to the function. This can be paid by credit card, in-person, or by EFTPOS The deposit is not refundable if there is a cancellation but can be used to re-book an alternate date. FINAL PAYMENTS Please note that the final balance owing on your function must be paid on the night of the function either by cash or credit card. No outstanding balance can be paid after your function has concluded. CANCELLATION In the event that the function is cancelled, the following guidelines will apply: Where a function is cancelled between days prior to the date of the function, the client shall forfeit their deposit. Where the function is cancelled between 1 31 days prior to the date of the function the client forfeits the deposit and 80% of the said minimum spend for the allocated space. PRICES Price quotes in the function information package are correct at the time of issuing and are subject to change. All prices are inclusive of GST.
