5 Family Bookings Terms & Conditions This Booking agreement outlines details to date for the function for which we have booked any space at Family and set out our and your expectations. Confirmation of Booking The Bookings Terms and Conditions Form must be signed and returned as part of the confirmation of the booking. Tentative Bookings can be held for 3 working days only. We reserve the right to cancel the tentative booking and allocate the space to another client if the deposit payment is not received by the agreed date. In certain exceptional and unforeseen circumstances, it may be necessary to assign a different space for your booking, we will in these circumstances provide you with reasonable notice where that is possible. A booking is confirmed when a 20% deposit is is made and cleared in a bank account designated by us of the agreed Payment for the function. The following information must be received 10 days prior to your event, or we reserve the right to cancel your booking and retain any payments that have been made. * Family Booking Form * Family Beverage of Choice * Family Guest list Payment All bookings have to be pre-paid up front with the remainder of the agreed Payment must be received at least 10 days prior to the booking date, unless prior arrangements have been made with us. If the Payment is made by Cheque or Money Order it is required to be paid at least 14 days prior to the event to ensure sufficient time for funds to clear. We accept payment in the form of: Cash, Credit Card [surcharge s apply] Direct Deposit, Money Order or Bank Cheque. All pre-paid bar tab as part of the booking will need to be finished on the night there are no refunds/credits given for unconsumed bar tab. Cancellation We would share your disappointment if it was necessary for your booking to be cancelled. The following conditions apply to a cancellation: The deposit payment is non-refundable if the booking is cancelled within 2 weeks (14 days) of the booking date. There will be a booking cancellation fee of $20.00 for all other cancellations. Notification of your cancellation must be received in writing (either by or Fax). We understand that unforeseen and unfortunate circumstances may apply to a cancellation of a booking and will be happy to discuss these circumstances with you to assist in such an event. 1. Family VIP Minimum Spends The minimum spend is a prepaid amount which is used for both cover charge [excluding special events] and beverages. The prepaid minimum spend must be consumed on the evening of the booking. NOTE: Surcharges may apply to minimum spends in special event dates [peak season, public holidays, special events] please discuss with sales/events manager 2. Pricing Whilst every attempt is made to avoid unforeseen price increases, menu prices are valid until the date stipulated on your documents. GST has been included in all prices listed on your documents. Ticketed events will incur additional charges. To be advised at time of booking. 3. Dress/Appearance Code Family Dress/Appearance code applies at all times. It is your responsibility to abide by these dress/appearance standards and ensure that all guests under this booking understand our door policy. We suggest you include the dress code on invitations or notify all guests when booking at the Family smart casual attire is required to enter the venue. *No alcohol/sport e.g. basketball jerseys etc/surf branded clothing *No shorts *No thongs or runners Tattoos are subject to the door host s discretion. Tattoo policy is available on The Family Nightclub is highly decorative and our venue policy does not allow decorative attire, paraphernalia or any games. EG- Tiara s or veil s, balloons, hens straws, fancy dress. If you require further clarification please contact one our reservation staff members NO Refunds will be given to any person/s in the booking unable to gain entry on the night of the booking or who are ejected from the venue for not adhering to the terms and conditions. NOTE: All function dress codes will ultimately be up to the door hosts/managements discretion on the night. Any guests attending private/prepaid bookings that do not meet these dress and appearance standards may be refused entry by Family management. 4. Special Occasions 18th Birthdays- are welcomed providing parent/guardian are involved in the booking process and present for the entire length of the function. We reserve the right to cancel any bookings who do not meet these conditions. 5. Beverages The Family Nightclub practices the responsible service of Alcohol. All staff are trained in Liquor Licensing Accredited Responsible Service of Alcohol. By law staff may refuse to serve alcohol to any person that is deemed to be intoxicated. Under no circumstances are persons under the age of 18 years permitted entry to the venue at any time. Beverages are served on a consumption basis. Due to Alcohol Regulations, no B.Y.O is permitted in the Venue. The venue reserves the right to refuse alcohol service and/or remove any patrons that do not behave appropriately or ignore notice to cease consumption of alcohol as per the Qld Liquor Licensing Law. 6. Event Duration The Family Nightclub s trading hours are Friday Sunday 9.00pm 3.00am. Please check with your sales/events manager the arrival and finishing times of your booking. 7. Insurance This agreement indemnifies Family Qld Pty Ltd (its staff, agents and contracts) from and against all liabilities, damage and claims due to, or accidental to, the conduct and security of event guests, and any property loss or damaged to event guests. 8. Entry Requirements Appropriate Photo ID is required by all guests and must be presented to door staff on entry. All guests will adhere to both the Fire and Emergency Services Act 1990 and Liquor Act The Family Nightclub will NOT tolerate violence of any kind patrons involved in any type of physical violence will be in breach of the house rules and ejected from the venue or apprehended. A copy of the House Rules is posted in the venue or you may request a copy from management.
