Study Prgress Hydraulic mdeling f the apprximate study streams are prgressing well. The fllwing item frm the previus prgress reprts is recrding here fr recrd keeping purpses: Field Survey was submitted fr MIP validatin n April 2, 2015 A webninar t present study prgress t the cmmunities were cnducted n April 22, 2015 Cmpleted field recnnaissance t inspect structures, general field cnditins and accessibility issues fr the survey crews wh wuld be surveying river crssings and natural crss sectin fr detailed study streams. The RAMPP team is als in the prcess f cnducting hydraulic analyses fr sme f the streams within the watershed. These included streams which the RAMPP team received frm HALFF thus far fr eventual incrpratin f these mdels int this Watershed Study. As f , HALFF is still waiting fr the apprval t release mst f the recently studied streams in Hays Cunty. The RAMPP team is currently waiting fr apprximately the remaining 12 percent f all the streams that have been analysed by HALFF. Update: As f All mdels have been received at this pint. Hydrlgic analyses were successfully upladed t the MIP and the packages were validated by the FEMA PM n August 19, 2014 On July 17, 2014, the RAMPP team gt better clarificatin frm Ms. Engelhardt with HALFF Assciates n all the streams that her team had studied especially in Hays Cunty. She indicated that HALFF culd pssibly prvide the mdels t RAMPP in three t fur weeks time frame depending n apprval frm her client. Subsequent t the discussin with Ms. Engelhardt, based n this latest Page 1 f 5

2 infrmatin, the FEMA PM was presented an updated Step 1 and Step 2 streams n July 23, 2014 that culd be studied and/r incrprated int this Watershed study. Terrain data was successfully upladed t the MIP n 6/16/2014 TECHNICAL ISSUES A. Nne. ACTION ITEMS The RAMPP team finally btained the Whitman and Backbk Creeks mdels frm Marble Falls the week f May the 19, Preliminary review f the mdels indicated the fllwing: i. The fllwing return perids were mdeled: 2, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 500, ultimate and HMS fr used fr the hydrlgic analysis. ii. It seems surveyed structures were included in the mdels The RAMPP team has als been ding checks n Bartn Creek Onin, Bear and Little Beak Creek fr the eventual incrpratin f these mdels int this Watershed Study. Dcumentatin f attempts t btain data frm the cmmunity: iii. iv. In an dated April 15, 2004, Mr. Stanley Fees, FPA fr the City f Buda in Hays Cunty indicated that Garlic Creek Study that was perfrmed by HALFF Assciates shuld be finalized in a cuple f weeks. Mr. Fees will als prvide us with Drainage Master Plan that will be presented fr Cuncil apprval n May 6, Mr. Fees was called r n the fllwing dates : Called r sent n 3/26/2014; 3/31/2014; 4/15/2014; 5/5/2014 The RAMPP team cntacted Ms. Cathy Kratz with the TXDOT n April 4, 2014 t btain infrmatin n the crssings fr Hamiltn Creek at US281 and Highway 29 and als the crssings fr Delaware Creek. The fllwing were selected items frm previus prgress reprts recrded here fr recrd keeping purpses: Related t the pssible revisin in scpe, Field Survey Task that was slated t start n February 10, 2014 has t be delayed until the RAMPP team has clarity n the exact scpe. This delay will have an impact n the SPI and schedule Change Request will be necessary. And with the apprval f CR18, the schedule f CR18 additinal scpe and the FY13 scpe can be aligned t ensure unified deliverables fr the upcming tasks. Page 2 f 5

3 There is a pssible revisin t the scpe in Burnet Cunty. At the kickff meeting n February 26, 2014, FEMA and the RAMPP team learned that streams that Backbne Creek and Whitman Creek are being studied by HALFF and are nly waiting fr TWDB apprval. These streams were riginally scped t be studied using the detailed study methd by RAMPP. This delay will have an impact n the SPI and schedule Change Request will be necessary.
