4 ****BLU E SHEET **** Department of Finance Interoffice Memorandum TO: FROM: Mr. Rob DiSpirito, City Manager Ms. Karen Feeney, Finance Director DATE: 9/3/2013 RE: Budget Amendment, Resolution Purpo e This budget amendment is being done to transfer monies/budgets between funds and projects, and to correct some original budgets. Net change to fund balances is an increase of $535,708. This is comprised of a reduction of Cemetery Fund balance in the General Fund of $, an increase of $ in Fleet Services, and a decrease in fund balance in the Palm Boulevard Debt Service Fund. General Fund There is a transfer out from the General Fund to County Gas Tax Fund for Cemetery roads - $, and the offsetting revenue (transfer in) and expense in the County Gas Tax Fund. Also included is a transfer out to the Stadium Fund- $ (for a spring training study). Stormwater Fund In the Stormwater Fund transfers from the Pipe Lining Rehabilitation project to the Amberlea Subdivision project in the amount of$ are being made. Other Transfers Transfers being eliminated are a Transfer Out from Fleet Services of $, and a Transfer In in the Palm Boulevard Debt Service Fund - $. Both budgets were one-sided, i.e. there was no offsetting transfer in/out. In the case of the Fleet Services fund, this just helps to maintain the fund balance, which is being depleted in FY2014. In the case of the Palm Boulevard Debt Service Fund, the last payment is being made using fund balance. CRA Budgeted funds are being transferred from one project- Wayfinding, to another- Edgewater Connection, in the CRA fund. Pe:tmyF1md In the Penny Fund, budgeted funds are being transferred to Lyndhurst Street - $, and to Skinner Boulevard $140,426, from Corridor Studies and Improvements.
