4 Freign Travel Insurance Faculty, staff, student interns and trustees (referred t as Cvered Persns ) wh travel abrad fr the purpse f cnducting University business r fulfilling internship requirements are prvided certain freign insurance cverage and travel assistance services. Insurance cverage is prvided by submitting paid expenses assciated with a cvered claim t the insurance cmpany. Althugh a cvered claim is paid retrspective, up t the limits f cverage, it is imprtant t fllw prper claims reprting at the time f the ccurrence. Available thrugh Risk Management and Wrkers Cmpensatin-AIG Travel Guard. General Liability: Prvides cverage fr an ccurrence in which the Cvered Persn may be liable fr bdily injury r prperty lss f anther persn. Excluded cverage includes but is nt limited t: prfessinal services, services furnished by healthcare prviders, sexual abuse, pllutants and use f watercraft. $2,000,000 General Aggregate $2,000,000 Prducts and Cmpleted Operatins Aggregate $1,000,000 Persnal and Advertising Injury Limit $1,000,000 Each Occurrence $1,000,000 Damage t Premises Rented t University $10,000 Medical Expenses 4

5 Freign Travel Insurance cnt. Excess Aut Liability: Prvides cverage fr bdily injury r prperty lss caused by an accident when the Cvered Persn is driving a rented vehicle in a freign cuntry. Excess aut liability prvides cverage ver r in excess f rental r any ther insurance. The Cvered Persn driver must purchase frm the rental cmpany the basic rental insurance f at least US $10,000 each persn/us $20,000 each accident fr bdily injury and US $10,000 each accident fr prperty damage, r if higher, lcal mandated limits. $1,000,000 Cmbined Single Limit (n aggregate) $10,000 Medical Expenses Each Accident Freign Travel Accident and Sickness: Cverage fr reasnable and custmary charges fr cvered medical expenses incurred by the Cvered Persn which are nt due t a pre-existing cnditin. Cverage is als available fr emergency medical evacuatin that has been rdered by AIG Travel Guard r a physician wh certifies the severity r nature f the serius injury r sickness what warrants evacuatin. Emergency family travel is available upn prir apprval f AIG Travel Guard.
