As prt of the ity of Toronto s Bsement Flooding Protection Progrm, investigtions into chronic bsement flooding were undertken by the ity s Toronto Wter ivision throughout the ity. These investigtions ttempted to find potentil solutions tht would ssist in lleviting bsement flooding experienced by homeowners during periods of hevy rinfll. A vible solution involved bndoning the existing 55mm dimeter storm sewer on the Property (Topcliff Prk) nd replcing it with 1mm dimeter concrete storm sewer. n order to enble this solution, new permnent esement greement is required with TRA. ity stff hve pproched TRA nd hve requested to cquire permnent esement on the Property to contin the new storm sewer nd ssocited infrstructure. At its Meeting #16, held on April 8, 16, the TRA pproved the ity s request for new permnent esement on the Property for nominl considertion.
