The units by fr hve exceeded their is life expectncy nd te need of replcement. The fcility supported by ne het pumps, one boiler, one coolg tower nd three exhust fns. The coolg tower ws replced pproximtely five yers go nd one het pump unit ws replced pproximtely three yers go. The remg units hve gone through regulr mtennce nd repirs, but the effect soon be development, stff estimtes dimished over time. While mster pln for implemented. Replcement it will of the of L dditionl mtennce hs Cieneg Prk will require between three to five yers before plns re strongly recommended now due to HVAC system poor condition of the equipment nd the community need for contued opertion of the fcility. is The scope of work for the proposed contrct cludes the replcement of eight wter source het pumps nd one boiler nd ssocited strers, vlves, exhust fns, ductwork nd control system. Review of the firm s references through the nnul prequlifiction process dictes tht it hs successfully executed similr work nd is qulified to complete this project. Additionlly, the contrctor hs successfully completed severl mtennce projects ssocited with City HVAC systems the pst. The City received erly price quotes from both Advnced Centrifugl Systems, Air notice Conditiong Solutions, vitg Air $122,600 nd Inc. Inc. nd September 2016 before the issunce of n forml bids. Advnced Centrifugl Systems, Conditiong Solutions, Inc. Inc. hd estimted costs t hd estimted costs t $121,700. These mounts re not clusive of the $12,000 llownce for smoke detectors. Both contrctors obted Systems, Inc. bid submitted documents for the project, but only Advnced Centrifugl bid.
