4 During Q2-, the Bnk sold prt of its shreholding in ICICI Prudentil Life Insurnce Compny Limited in the initil public offer (IPO) for totl considertion of 6, crore. The sle resulted in gin (before tx nd fter IPO relted expenses) of 5,6803 crore in unconsolidted finncil results nd 5, crore in consolidted finncil results for Q2-, H1- nd FY The shreholders of the Bnk pproved the issue of bonus shres of 2 ech in the proportion of 1:10, i.e. 1 (one) bonus equity shre of 2 ech for every 10 (ten) fully pid-up equity shres held (including shres underlying ADS), through postl bllot on June 12,. Accordingly, the Bnk issued 582,984,544 equity shres s bonus shres during Q Further, the bsic nd diluted ernings per shre hve been restted for Q2-, H1- nd FY s required by Accounting Stndrd (AS) 20 - Ernings per shre. On April 18,, RBI through its circulr dvised tht the provisioning rtes prescribed s per the prudentil norms circulr re the regultory minimum nd bnks re encourged to mke provisions t higher rtes in respect of dvnces to stressed sectors of the economy nd hd specificlly highlighted the telecom sector. Accordingly, during H1-2018, the Bnk s per its Bord pproved policy mde dditionl generl provision mounting to crore on stndrd lons to borrowers. During Q1-2018, RBI dvised bnks to initite insolvency resolution process in respect of 12 ccounts under the provisions of Insolvency nd Bnkruptcy Code, 2016 (IBC) nd lso required bnks to mke higher provisions for these ccounts during the yer. RBI llowed bnks to spred this dditionl provision over three qurters strting Q The Bnk, during FY2018, is required to mke dditionl provision of crore due to the bove in ddition to the provisions to be mde s per the existing RBI guidelines. The Bnk, on prudent bsis, hs mde this entire dditionl provision during Q Further, during Q2-2018, RBI dvised the Bnk to mke effort to complete the resolution process s greed in JLF/consortium nd implement vible resolution pln in respect of 18 dditionl ccounts by specified dte, filing which, the JLF/consortium must initite insolvency proceedings for these ccounts under the provisions of the IBC nd bnks will be required to mke higher provision. At 30,, the Bnk hd outstnding lons to these borrowers mounting to 10, crore (excluding non-fund outstnding mount of 1,3814 crore). Out of these lons, 98.7% of the lons mounting to 10, crore re to borrowers clssified s nonperforming t 30,. At 30,, the Bnk holds provision of 3, crore ginst these outstnding lons, which mounts to 31.5% provision coverge in respect of outstnding lons to these borrowers. During Q1-2018, with the pprovl of Bord of Directors, the Bnk hs trnsferred securities mounting to 24,3606 crore from held-to-mturity (HTM) ctegory to vilble-for-sle (AFS) ctegory, being trnsfer of securities t the beginning of the ccounting yer s permitted by RBI. Further, the Bnk hd not sold ny securities under HTM ctegory during H During FY, the Bnk undertook 1,547 trnsctions for sle of securities with net book vlue of 70,0045 crore, mounting to 70.60% of the HTM portfolio t the beginning of FY (Q2-: 200 trnsctions for 13, crore, mounting to 196% of HTM portfolio; H1-: 630 trnsctions for 32, crore, mounting to 309% of HTM portfolio). The bove sle is excluding sle to RBI under prennounced Open Mrket Opertion uctions nd repurchse of government securities by Government of Indi, s permitted by RBI guidelines. 9. During Q2-, the Bnk hd mde dditionl provisions/loss of 3, crore comprising dditionl provision of 1, crore for stndrd lons, recognition of entire deferred loss of previous period on sle of NPAs to ARCs mounting to crore nd floting provision of 1, crore. The Bnk hd subsequently utilised the floting provision mounting to 1, crore during Q4- by llocting it to specific non-performing ssets.
