1 PERSONAL FINANCE Grde Levels: 9-12 Personl Finnce llows the student to explore personl finncil decision-mking. It lso helps individuls use skills in money mngement, record-keeping, bnking, nd investing. The course ccomplishes this by the study of bsic concepts involving economics, insurnce, bnking, credit, stocks nd bonds, nd other relted topics through the use of business reserch tools nd technologicl resources. Activities will include preprtion of budgets, consumer skills, checking ccounts, investment pplictions, comprison-shopping, dvertising reserch, stndrd of living nlysis, nd comprison of housing options. This course is designed to be one-semester,.5 credit course.
