1 Horse Whispers Macclesfield Pony Club Newsletter November 2014 President s Report Hello Everyone, Our Cup Day show went well with lots of Maccy members doing very well. Congratulations to everyone who competed, and a big thank you to all who helped run the event. A special thank you to Tracey and Paul for their help with set-up and running the BBQ on the day, and to Deb and Des for their work with both set up and organizing the canteen. Also to Kelly for her huge efforts in organizing and running the day. It seemed to run smoothly, but not without a lot of work behind the scenes. I N S I D E T H I S I S S U E : DC s Report 2 Rally Plan 3 We would also like to thank our sponsors for the cup day show - Elite Equine Veterinarians, Emerald Veterinary Clinic, Seville Veterinary Clinic, Seville Saddlery, Horseland Lilydale, Bendigo Bank, Cedar Lodge rugs and Bedshed Nunawading. This day could not have run without you all. We are now starting to plan our Annual Challenge which will be held on the 14th of December this year. This will be our Christmas breakup and our club's 50th anniversary. See you all at the next rally. We have since had more enquiries from companies interested in sponsoring our club in many different ways, which is really exciting, so we are hoping for our future events to be bigger and better. Just an update on the PA system - we are still going through processes in the insurance claim for the PA system that was stolen earlier in the year. The guys from Sound Serious who supplied the original system were able to help us out with organizing a system to use for the show, and are working to find a replacement system. The one we used for the show is a trial of what we are hoping to replace our system with, which we thought worked really well. Have a great month! Sue
