3 Open Section Notice of Grade Specifications All participants are required to walk the course if not competent to cope with the specification conditions, withdraw from the competition. Open competitors who are members of PCAV, EA, HRCAV, Endurance Riders the Arabian Society must complete the Liability Declaration form prior to arrival but are exempt from payment of the Day Participant fee. Riders without the appropriate insurance must complete the Day Participant waiver pay $10. c. All competitors will be required to pay a $5 facility fee to the IR Robertson Reserve. 2. No refunds after closing date except with vet or medical certificate. An admin fee of $10 will be deducted. 3. Entries are accepted in order of receipt until sections are full. In the event that excess entries are received a waiting list will be created advised. Late entries will only be accepted at committee discretion if places are available. 4. Entering this competition constitutes acknowledgement that PCAV rules apply acceptance of these rules. 5. The organising committee reserves the right to cancel any class or competition; divide any class; alter times; refuse any entry with or without stating the reason. 6. Competitors may ride more than one horse, subject to the conditions of PCAV Hbook of By laws multiple horse rules. 7. Complying helmets must be worn, spot checks may occur. 8. Gear Check: required for all riders before competing. 9. Armbs: must be worn by all competitors. 10. Horses must be at least four years of age, no stallions, colts or rigs. 11. PCAV Alcohol Policy applies. 12. Queries, protests, horse abuse, rules as per the PCAV Hbook of By Laws. 13. This event will comply with the PCAV EI Biosecurity Guidelines which are current at the time of the event. 14. Neither the organising committee of this competition nor the PCAV accepts any responsibility whatsoever for any accident, damage, injury or illness to horses, riders, ground spectators or any other person or property. 15. I have provided my Membership Card / Insurance Policy / Certificate of Currency as proof of this insurance if necessary* read, acknowledged & signed the Day Participant Waiver. I am aware that this is not Personal Liability Insurance so cover does not extend to cover travel to from this event. I am also aware that no Personal Accident cover is provided. Full Name: (Guardian under 18) DAY PARTICIPANT WAIVER Participants in events organised by PCAV Clubs, who are not current financial members of a PCAV Club, or who do not have any other approved insurance in place, upon completion of this form are deemed to be Day Participants of the event. Protection is afforded to the Day Participant under the PCAV Public Liability policy, only whilst participating in activities organised /or run by the PCAV Club at that event, where they are liable for causing bodily injury or property damage to others, excluding whilst travelling to from such event. By signing this form, you agree to abide by the Rules & Conditions of the PCAV any Rules of the event. For every Entrant who does NOT have a current proven Public Liability insurance to the minimum of $10, a payment is due of $10.00 per person per day (including GST), to cover the cost of participation with this Pony Club for each day of this event. Horse Sports are a Dangerous Activity I, the undersigned, in consideration for being permitted to participate in any way in horse sport activities in particular this event, acknowledge accept that: Horse sports are a dangerous recreational activity horses can act in a sudden unpredictable way, especially if frightened or hurt. There is a significant risk that serious injury or death may result from horse sport activities in particular this event freely assume all such risks, even if arising from the negligence of PCAV /or the event organiser / official. I voluntarily participate at my own risk assume sole responsibility for any injury, death or property damage I may suffer that arises from my participation in horse sport activities. I underst acknowledge the dangers associated with the consumption of alcohol or any mind altering drugs before during the activity I take full responsibility for any injury, loss or damage associated with their consumption.

5 I agree to follow the directions of any event organiser or official that any misconduct orr refusal by me to follow any direction d of any organiser or official can result in the cancellation of my participation in the event my immediate removal from my horse no matter where that may occur. I further agree to abide by b the Rules Conditions of this event d the official Rule Book of the Pony Club Association of Victoria. I underst that any such non compliance may result in injury, death /or permanent disability I agree to indemnify PCAV against all claims made by any person as a result of my failure to comply. I agree to wear a helmet at all times whilst riding agree that I am solely responsible for ensuring that I wear a suitablee helmet at all times while riding take sole responsibility for my actions. I, for myself on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives next of kin, hereby release hold harmless agree not to sue the proprietors of the Pony Club Association of Victoria /or the event organiser, their officers, officials, volunteers, coaches, agents /or employees, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, state bodies, affiliatedd clubs if applicable, owners lessors of premises used to conduct the activities (all of whom are referred to as Releasees ) with respect to any all injury, disability, death, or loss or damage to person or property, whether caused by the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise. Effect of this Document I have had sufficient opportunity o to read this release of liability assumption of risk agreement, fully underst its terms, underst that I have given up substantial rights byy signing it, sign it freely voluntarily without inducement of any kind. I underst that my signature to this documentt constitutes a complete unconditional release of all liability of the Releasees, to the greatest extent allowed by law in the event of me /or the children under my care, suffering injury or death. In consideration of your accepting my participation, I hereby undertake to indemnify the organising o bodyy against all claims, losses, suits damages made against or suffered by the organising body by reason of any negligent act or o omission on the part of anyy rider, driver, trainer or attendant whilst he/she is attending, riding, driving or otherwise hling any horse so entered or anyy other horse owned o or entered by me, I agree that any act or omission on the part of such rider, driver, hler or attendant a found in any action against you to be negligent shall be deemed to have been negligent for the purpose of any claim under this indemnity. Further, I agree to abide by the Rules & Conditions current Rule Book as laid down by the Pony Club Association of Victoria /or contained in any official event schedule I also agree to abide by all of the Event Venue rules r regarding use of their centre its facilities.
