6 Hickory Hill Special Dependent Tax District Minutes of the Public Budget Hearing- FY 2017 The public budget hearing for the Hickory Hill Special Dependent Tax District was convened by Trustee Herbert Belcher at 6:41PM on May 10 1 h, 2016 at the Quest@ Kingsway Fellowship Hall, 501 S. Kingsway Road, Seffner, Florida Trustees in attendance were: Herbert Belcher, Marjorie Boyd, Monte Mahr, Vicki Olewinski, Earl Palmer and Fred Locke. This constituted a quorum. Trustee Herbert Belcher called the meeting to order at 6:41PM. Monte Mahr presented the year 2017 budget for discussion. After discussion on "Repair and Maintenance" and "Utilities", Monte Mahr asked for public comment. There being no public comments, Earl Palmer moved to close public comment. The motion was seconded by Fred Locke and approved by the Board. Vicki Olewinski then moved to approve the budget, adopt the resolution and to set the assessment rate at $ Marjorie Boyd seconded the motion. The motion was approved unanimously. 7 RESOLUTON FXNG SPECAL ASSESSMENT FOR THE YEAR 2016 and APPROVNG FY 17 BUDGET Upon the motion by Trustee Vicki Olewinski, seconded by Trustee Marjorie Boyd, the following Resolution was adopted by 6 votes to 0 vote. WHEREAS, HCKORY HLL SPECAL DEPENDENT TAX DSTRCT is a special dependent district duly established and operating pursuant to Ordinance #88-41 ; and, WHEREAS, Ordinance #88-41 provided that the Board of Trustees of HCKORY HLL SPECAL DEPENDENT TAX DSTRCT has the right, power and authority to levy a special assessment against RESDENTAL PROPERTY in the district for the purpose of MANTANNG AND MPROVNG COMMON PROPERTY and, WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of HCKORY HLL SPECAL DEPENDENT TAX DSTRCT has determined that the assessment for the year 2016 shall be in the amount of $70.00; and, WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of HCKORY HLL SPECAL DEPENDENT TAX DSTRCT has had a duly advertised public hearing on the 22 day of April, 2016; and, WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of HCKORY HLL SPECAL DEPENDENT TAX DSTRCT has presented the proposed assessment and proposed budget to the residents of HCKORY HLL SPECAL DEPENDENT TAX DSTRCT at the public hearing; and, WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of HCKORY HLL SPECAL DEPENDENT TAX DSTRCT has heard discussion and comments from the residents.
