2 Dear Friends, As we prepare for our new fiscal year, I must pause for a moment and say thank you to everyone that contributed to our successes this past year. You made sacrifices to improve the condition of children and families that have suffered abuse. Your great generosity has ensured those less fortunate have the tools necessary to go from child victim to survivor to one that thrives. YOU WERE A SUPERHERO FOR KIDS and we could not have done it without you! Each of you deserve a cape signifying your superhero status. Our slate of events has been set for , and we are excited about each opportunity to share our mission with the community. For the Child Protection Center (CPC) to be successful we need the support and partnership of our community, and then we can have the greatest impact on the children and families we serve. We are seeking individuals, businesses, and foundations with a desire and passion, like ours, to make a difference in the lives of children and families impacted by abuse. We are calling on all superheroes to partner with the CPC and help us to reduce/ eliminate child abuse. The work we do now is laying the foundation to reducing child abuse in the future. We are creating a better world for our children and their future which sounds like the very definition of a superhero.
