Our members are the key to our success, so we are excited to share with you the details of our growth in membership, assets and community support. represented a year of many positive changes and milestones for Achieva. First, we observed Achieva s 80th birthday, which was celebrated in true Achieva style across all our branches with members and staff in attendance. Another major milestone was reached when we welcomed our 150,000th member and watched our membership grow to new heights. We were also thrilled to be recognized as a Top Workplace by the Tampa Bay Times for the fifth year in a row. As our membership grew in, so did our range of product offerings and services. Along with launching our widely acclaimed Achieva Checking Plus account, we also introduced new products and services for our business members. was a benchmark year for Achieva in terms of product advancement, further proving our ability to adapt to the future of banking and accommodate our members ever-changing needs. report Your Credit Union had another strong year in, with total assets of $1.53 billion, which reflects growth of $80 million. Total loans grew to reach $1.15 billion, while total deposits came to $1.33 billion and our capital ratio was 11.57%. Once again, Achieva maintained our Superior 5-Star Rating (the highest rating) from BauerFinancial, a national, independent bank research firm. Doing things the Achieva Way is perhaps best reflected in our work supporting the communities we serve. Along with hosting four signature Achieva community events to raise funds for the Achieva Foundation, a 501(c)3 corporation that distributes classroom grants to local schools, we have taken part in countless sponsorships and events that benefit charitable organizations in our area. Most notably in, Achieva took part in a Habitat for Humanity home build for a deserving family in Charlotte County. We understand what it means to be a community-based financial institution, therefore we strive to always create a positive impact in our community and in the lives we touch. We are thankful to our members and staff for the powerful work we have accomplished together in, and we look forward to the great things in store for the year ahead and continuing our commitment to providing GOOD banking experiences to our members. Sincerely, TD Hawkins, Chairman of the Board Gary Regoli, President and CEO 86% POSITIVE MEMBER EXPERIENCES in The condensed financial statements were derived from the audited financial statements as of and for the years ended December 31, 2016 and.
