OVERVIEW All construction contract change orders and amendments are approved following a specific process of review by the construction manager, architect, program/project managers, and SBCCD staff. Nonessential changes are rejected and never receive approval. Any changes determined to be critical to the health of the project, required by the Division of the State Architect (DSA), and/or, of major benefit to the District are approved and implemented.
