13 Alchl Licensing Fees ff-licence The Sale and Supply f Alchl Act 2012 has intrduced natinal risk based fees fr all alchl licences. The new fee system, set by the Ministry f Justice, mre fairly reflects the cst f alchl licensing. The licence fee categry is determined using the belw criteria. 14 Applicatin Fee The licensing system has five fee categries, which reflect the range f cst/risk ratings. A premises' fee categry determines the applicatin fee that the licensee has t pay. Ttal weighting Fee categry 0-2 Very Lw 3-5 Lw 6-15 Medium High 26+ Very High In additin t the applicatin fee, applicants are required t pay an $85.00 administratin fee t cver public ntificatin f the applicatin. Applicants were previusly required t place the public ntice in the newspaper at their wn cst. In many cases, this is up t 75 per cent less than yu wuld therwise pay thrugh the newspaper. The annual fee is due befre the licence is issued (fr new licences) and then every year n the licence anniversary date.
