For the remainder of the morning, the six Sandmen artists, including Kevin, will work with and coach students in groups of three/four in creating assigned sand sculptures. In the afternoon, after returning from a one-hour lunch break, all of the students will utilize their newfound skills to work alongside all of the Sandmen on a massive sand sculpture that will tie in with and incorporate the smaller sand sculptures that the small groups will have created in the morning. Near the end of the sculpting day, the entire class will pose together for official photos with their unique works of sand art. Students will also be given the opportunity to pose individually for any photos their families would like to take. The sand sculptures will be left intact on the beach for all of Lakeside to enjoy.
