1 RULES & REGULATIONS 2018 Cindy and Sam Hoyt Exhibition Hall Superintendents: Brenda Dyer & Gloria Ross Phone: The Cindy & Sam Hoyt Exhibition Hall will be open to the public from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 9:00 a.m. through 5:30 p.m. on Sunday. Exhibits will be dismantled at 5:30 on Sunday. This hall seeks to find and showcase the high quality of craftsmanship and handiwork that is being done in our area. Each year we see the variety and quality of workmanship grow. All articles must be made by the person under whose name they are exhibited. Goods must have a new appearance, be well laundered, and have been made within the last year. We reserve the right to refuse an entry. An exhibitor can enter no more than one of each item in each class but can enter as many classes as they choose. If you have many items, please call the number above and get entry blanks before July 1. If you will display just a few, you may fill out the entry blank when you bring the item in. Children are encouraged to exhibit handicrafts and artwork to be placed in a special display area. Children are eligible to enter an item into any category or class, but premiums will be paid according to the children s prize schedule. Please specify the age of the child. Organizations are encouraged to enter items as a group. Exhibits will be received Tuesday from 5:30 PM to 7 PM and Wednesday - from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon in the Cindy and Sam Hoyt Exhibition Hall. The Exhibition hall will be closed to the public after 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday to allow for the judging of items and the arranging of the displays. All exhibits must remain in place until 6:00 p.m. Sunday, and items may be picked up at that time. Premiums will be paid when the exhibit is awarded 1st, 2nd or 3rd place by the judges. All premiums will be mailed. The Society will make reasonable watch and care over all exhibits and lock the hall at night, but will not be responsible for any loss or damage that may occur to exhibits.
