TELECONFERENCE MEETINGS. The ttal number f days f student attendance divided by the ttal number f days in the regular schl year. A student attending every day wuld equal ne ADA. ADA is nt the same as enrllment, which is the number f students enrlled in each schl and district. ADA usually is lwer than enrllment due t factrs such as students mving, drpping ut, r staying hme due t illness. The state uses a schl district's ADA t determine its general purpse (revenue limit) and sme ther funding. The schl district that apprves the charter under which the charter schl perates Pursuant t sectin B.5 f the Directr Cntract, the Directr Evaluatin takes place as sn as practicable after the clse f the fiscal year n June 30. The Directr Evaluatin fllws the self led evaluatin criteria using a presentatin f learning frmat. A financial audit prepared by an independent third party auditr engaged by the charter schl. By December 15 f each year, charter schls must file cpies f their annual independent financial audit reprts with their chartering authrity, the cunty superintendent f schls f the cunty in which the charter schl is sited, the State Cntrller, and the CDE, unless the charter schl is encmpassed in the financial audit f its chartering agency. [EC 41020, 47605(m), 5 CCR et. seq.] The Plitical Refrm Act requires every gvernment agency t review its cnflict-f-interest cde biennially t determine if it is accurate r, alternatively, that the cde must be amended. This is dne thrugh the Calif. Fair Plitical Practices Cmmissin. The Cnslidated Applicatin (CnApp) is used by the Califrnia Department f Educatin (CDE) t distribute categrical funds frm varius state and federal prgrams t cunty ffices, schl districts, and direct-funded charter schls thrughut Califrnia. Annually, in Autumn, each lcal educatinal agency (LEA) submits Part 1 f the CnApp t dcument participatin in these prgrams and prvide assurances that the district will cmply with the legal requirements f each prgram. Califrnia Department f Educatin The Directr Cntract is an emplyment cntract that runs frm July 1 t June 30 (the fiscal year). The cntract includes (1) emplyment terms; (2) descriptin f the Directr psitin (Exhibit A); and (3) Directr milestnes (Exhibit B). Achievement f the milestnes can result in an increase t verall cmpensatin paid t the Directr. Charter schls have the chice f receiving funds either directly r thrugh the Authrizing Schl District (chartering authrity).
