10 The upcoming facility remodeling could be expanded to include the following projects. Please note: The location is the same for all three gym options presented in the survey. The image above represents the size for the largest of the three options. 10
11 Expanding/Remodeling the Fine Arts Area This option would further improve the band, choir and stage areas. The existing band room would be remodeled to create a scene shop, make-up and dressing areas, and storage to support the existing stage location. Removal of the tiered risers and other small remodeled areas would take place in the existing chorus room. A new, larger band room would be built on the south side of the school. 11

18 If yes, three options to expand the gym have been developed for community feedback: Option 1: Adding a Competition Gym This option would build a 12,800 square foot four-court gym on the upper or main level, provide bleacher seating for 1,200 spectators as well as additional restrooms as required by building code. This option would also expand the previously approved Fitness Center from 3,000 to 5,000 square feet on the lower level. Estimated cost: $5.5 million, representing an estimated annual tax increase of approximately $112 for each $100,000 of property value over the current level Option 2: Adding a Full-sized Gym This option would build a 8,400 square foot two-court gym on the upper or main level and provide bleacher seating for 240 spectators. This option would also expand the previously approved Fitness Center from 3,000 to 5,000 square feet on the lower level. Estimated cost: $3.5 million, representing an estimated annual tax increase of approximately $73 for each $100,000 of property value over the current level Option 3: Adding a Smaller Gym This option would build a 5,000 square foot practice gym on the main level with no seating for spectators. Estimated cost: $1.8 million, representing an estimated annual tax increase of approximately $41 for each $100,000 of property value over the current level 18
