The houseboats came into being during the British Raj, when the Maharajas of Kashmir refused the British permission to build on dry Land. Today, these boats are well appointed, with two to four bedrooms. Each boat has its own house-boy and service. Day 01 Arrive Delhi Meet and traditional welcome. Transfer to hotel. Overnight in hotel. Day 02 Delhi-Srinagar (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) Breakfast. Transfer to domestic airport for flight to Srinagar. Meet and transfer to Deluxe house boat. Thereafter, half day tour of world famous Mughal Gardens visiting the Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love). In the evening Shikara ride on The Dal Lake to enjoy the beauty that God has graced this city with which is often compared to Venice. You will get a view of some very interesting places around the Lake. Dinner and overnight at Houseboat. Day 03 Srinagar-Gulmarg-Srinagar (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) Breakfast. Full day tour of Gulmarg which is one of the most beautiful summer resort in the valley. Enjoy the splendor of nature and the snowy mountains. One can have Gondola ride-(cable car) from Gulmarg to Khalinmarg In the evening return to Houseboat. Dinner and overnight at Houseboat.

2 Day 04 Srinagar-Delhi-Agra (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) Breakfast. Some time free. Early Lunch and on time transfer airport for flight to Delhi. Meet and drive straight to Agra (approx. 4 Hrs.). Dinner and overnight in hotel. Day 05 Agra-Jaipur (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) Breakfast. Visit Taj Mahal:- (Closed on Friday) Described as the most extravagant monument ever built for love, this poignant Mughal mausolem has become the de facto tourist emblem of India. It was constructed by Emperor Shah Jehan in memory of his second wife Mumtaz Mahal. Lunch at local restaurant. Visit Agra Fort: - Constructed of the massive red sandstone Agra Fort on the bank of River Yamuna, was begun by Emperor Akbar in Drive to Jaipur (approx. 5 Hrs.). Arrive and check-in to hotel for dinner and overnight.

3 Day 06 Jaipur (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) Breakfast. Visit Amber fort built in the 17 th Century; the palace is a distinguished specimen of Rajput architecture. Take a joy ride on an elephant back at Amber Fort. Set in a picturesque location, Amer is fascinating blend of Hindu and Muslim architecture. moves up to 4m per hour. Lunch at local restaurant. Thereafter, explore the city starting from the Pink City Palace which now houses a museum containing rare manuscript, painting and an armoury; visit the Palace of Winds-a Landmark of Jaipur made of pink sandstone and of unique design. Next to city palace built by Jaisingh in The most striking instrument is the sundial, with its 27m-high gnomon; the shadow this casts Later visit Birla Temple- Birla Temple forms one of the major attractions of Jaipur. Birla Temple of Jaipur looks stunning, when it is brightly lit in the night. Birla Mandir, in pure white marble, dominates the skyline of southern part of Jaipur. Evening is free for shopping at local bazaar. Dinner and overnight in hotel. Day 07 Jaipur-Delhi-Further Destination (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner) Breakfast. Drive back to Delhi (approx. 5 Hrs.). Arrive and lunch in local restaurant. Tour (basically drive around/photo stop) of New Delhi: India s capital and an important gateway into the country, New Delhi is a bustling metropolis- an interesting mix of fast paced modernization and carefully preserved antiquity. Visit Lutyen s Delhi-drive past President s palace and also known as Rashtrapati Bhawan, India gate, a World War I memorial.
