2 The Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris is one of the biggest running events of the world. It is a race that is famous for its sightseeing. Running in Paris will take you through all the famous landmarks. Get your guaranteed entry with Run the Globe and run in the city of lights! As mentioned prior this course will make you run through many historic landmarks of the city. During your K journey you will run through the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame de Paris, along the Seine River, and of course the starting line on the Champs Elysees. The Paris marathon is the third largest race in Europe (behind London and Berlin). More than just running There are hundreds of things to do in the capital city of France. The Louvres Museum if you re an amateur of art worth visiting. The Arc de Triomphe is one of the most magnificent architectural in the city. And of course, climbing up the Butte Montmartre will give the most amazing view of the city! Last year Paris hosted 43,754 participants for the race. The winners in 2017 were Paul Lonyagata for males and his compatriot from Kenya Purity Rionoripo for females.

3 Our Packages: We proudly offer guaranteed entries; however the number of spots is limited which makes them available on a first come first serve basis. We are unfortunately not allowed to sell those entries alone. To secure your guaranteed entry to the Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris you need to purchase one of our traveling packages. You have the choice of two bundles of 4 nights: Our Hotel: We chose to stay at the Fartel Hotel Etoile. Located perfectly in the centre of the city, you are 10 minutes walking from the starting/finishing line. This 3-star hotel is on Avenue de la Grande Armee which is 450 metres walking from the Champs Elysee, the best place for shopping in the city. However, sharing a room would be possible in the case another runner has the same wish. The hotel is in the heart of Paris, you will be in walking distance to all main attractions. The most important is that the hotel is very close to the marathon which to avoid long walks after the race. The rooms are vast where you will find a locker for your belongings as well as free Wi-Fi.

Book our 2017 Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris package: To secure your spot, please click the registration site bellow and click the contact us section or us at Payments could be made via Visa, MasterCard, cheque or etransfer within 24 hours after completion of the form. You must read the booking terms and conditions and tick to agree. If you wish to discuss any aspect of the packages, please feel free to contact us. Payment: At the date of registration the deposit must be payed (consisting of the amount of the guaranteed entry plus half of the cost of the package). The full amount is due 60 days prior the first day of the trip. Booking accommodations: Run the Globe can customize your package if the dates provided in the brochure don t work with your schedule. Airfare is not included in our packages. Booking Changes: If you wish to change any of your booking once confirmed. An administration fee of $50 will be charged. Prices: All prices in this brochure are correct as at February 2017 and are shown in Canadian dollars (Taxes included). Prices are subject to change at any time due to currency fluctuations and until payment is received in full. Unused Services: Refunds will not be provided if due to illness or personal choice you do not utilise part or your entire chosen package. It is advised to apply to insurance on your own. However, in most cases your credit card would cover for this purchase. These will be required by the hotel at the time of checkin. Services and Obligations: As a non-profit organization, we supply our services consisting of arranging, booking, and co-ordinating travel facilities and services. The actual services and products are provided, supplied or performed by suppliers of travel, entertainment, and accommodation facilities or services (Suppliers). We undertake to perform our services described in clause above with reasonable care and skill. We will not however be liable for any loss or damage which results from the act, default or omissions of any person other than ourselves, our volunteers or agents, or any cause independent of human control. This includes (but is not limited to) loss, or damage which arises directly or indirectly from act of God, weather disruptions, dangers incidental to the sea or air, fire, breakdown in machinery or equipment, acts of Governments or other authorities de jure o de facto, wars whether declared or not, hostilities, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, deaths, acts of terrorism, pilferage, pandemics, quarantines or medical or customs regulations.
