Circular No.2/ th January 2019 To All Member Banks Dear Sir, From Friday the 19th April to Sunday 21st April, 2019 at BEIJING, China FEDAI has been holding its Annual Conference since the year The Conference gives an opportunity to representatives of our member banks to exchange notes and share views on the latest developments and current trends in the foreign exchange market, with other market participants and regulators. We propose to hold 14th FEDAI Annual Conference at BEIJING from 19th April to 21st April Beijing, China s sprawling capital, has history stretching back 3 millennia. Yet it s known as much for modern architecture as its ancient sites such as the grand Forbidden City complex, the imperial palace during the Ming and Qing dynasties. Nearby, the massive Tiananmen Square pedestrian plaza is the site of Mao Zedong s mausoleum and the National Museum of China, displaying a vast collection of cultural relics. Beijing is endowed with rare cultural heritage by its long history. The Great Wall, one of the world wonders and the only piece of man-made architecture that can be seen from the space, meanders through mountains and valleys for hundreds of kilometers in the region of Beijing. Beijing, the capital of China, is a city where the ancient culture and the modern civilization are well integrated. It attracts tens of millions of visitors and tourists both at home and abroad each year to enjoy its rich culture and wonderful scenery. We will have the benefit of learned speakers from Southeast Asian Countries as well as India who would share their views on latest developments in the Global Market. It is suggested that banks should nominate some senior level officials (heads of International Division / Treasury) as part of their teams. As senior officials of Reserve Bank of India and other industry bodies like IBA, CCIL, FIMMDA, are expected to attend the conference, it would be an excellent forum to interact with them. Please send your Registration Form by to conference@fedai.org.in. We have at the moment 130 seats confirmed at the current rate. The nominations will be accepted on first cum first serve basis for the 130 delegates. Thereafter, nominations may be accepted at revised rates, subject to availability. You would observe that there is substantial incentive provided under early bird scheme. We therefore request you to take this opportunity and submit your Registration Form at the earliest. The format for Registration is attached as Annexure II. The tentative tour itinerary is attached as Annexure III. The detailed programme schedule will be made available in due course of time.
