6 Summer Trip 2015 Rules Kona, Big Island, Hawaii Qualification Period The qualification period begins January 1, 2015 and concludes May 31, Consultants, Managers and above will achieve the required criteria based on Personal Sales, Personal Sponsoring, Central District/Branch Promotions and Central District Paid Wholesale Sales Growth within Compensation Plan. Guidelines To preserve the integrity and effectiveness of JAFRA s programs and incentives, JAFRA may audit participation and qualification records when necessary. This may include, but is not limited to, reviewing orders and independent Consultant Agreements submitted to JAFRA and requesting information from and reviewing records of Consultants, Leaders and Clients. The Trip The trip includes: four nights accommodations/taxes, meals and planned activities outlined on the posted agenda, round trip airport transportation between hotel and the Kona International Airport (for Achievers arriving during designated group travel periods on August 5 and departing on August 9), and gratuities associated with sponsored functions. The trip does not include incidentals charged to your room at The Hilton Waikoloa Village Resort. JAFRA reserves the right to change dates, agenda, property and location. Release and Limitations of Liability JAFRA Cosmetics International, Inc. s, ( JAFRA ) sole obligation to any Trip Achiever is to provide: airfare, accommodations, ground transportation (to and from Kona International Airport), planned excursions and meals from August 5 August 9, Participation in this or any JAFRA trip is at the sole risk of each Achiever. Each Achiever releases and holds harmless JAFRA, its parents, affiliates and subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees, and agents ( JAFRA Parties ) from any and all claims, damages, injuries, deaths, losses, rights, causes of action, actions, suits, debts, sums of money, or other liabilities, either at law or equity arising from or in any way relating to participation in this or any JAFRA trip. Account Status Consultants/Leaders account balances must be current in order to attend. FORM 1099MISC Per IRS rules, this is a taxable event. JAFRA will issue a FORM 1099MISC for the taxable value of this trip. Registration A valid address must be provided in order to participate in the Registration process. Online registration is the ONLY accepted method of registering for this trip. No registration packets will be sent by mail. No other means of registration will be accepted. s will be sent no later than Monday, June 15, 2015, confirming trip and online registration information. The registration deadline is Thursday, June 25, After this date, JAFRA will not accept registrations. The Achiever is responsible for completing online registration and is solely responsible for the accuracy of all information submitted. Achievers will be assessed a $35 fee for every change made after the registration deadline. All change fees will be automatically charged to the Achiever s account. Trip documents will not be shipped to the Achiever until all change fees have been paid in full. Substitutions / Reimbursements There will be no substitutions or monetary compensation for Achievers choosing not to attend the Summer Trip, or who do decline air travel arrangements during the registration process. Cancellations The deadline to cancel your trip without penalty is Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at 12:00 a.m. (PDT). Achievers who cancel their trips are not entitled to cash compensation. Any Trip Achiever who cancels after July 1, 2015, will be charged a $450 non-refundable cancellation fee (toward non-recoverable expenses). The fee will be charged to the Achiever s JAFRA account immediately. If cancellation occurs after July 1, 2015, due to a medical emergency and is supported by official medical documentation, JAFRA may consider waiving the cancellation fee. In order to be considered for exemption, the Achiever must submit their request in writing, along with attached documentation, to info@jafra.com by Monday, August 24, Please label subject line: Summer Trip 2015 Cancellation Consideration. Requests made after this date will not be considered. No phone requests will be accepted. JAFRA will provide decision or follow-up by to all submissions within 10 business days of request. No-Shows Achievers that register, do not cancel and do not attend will be charged $450 (toward non-recoverable expenses), unless there is a medical emergency (see Cancellations). Force Majeure Any delay or failure to perform JAFRA s obligations to participants shall be excused if such failure to perform or any delay is caused by matters such as acts of God, strikes, civil commotion, riots, war, revolution, acts of government, or any other cause which is reasonably beyond the control of JAFRA to perform. HOTEL INFORMATION Accommodations have been reserved for four nights, August 5, 6, 7, and 8, 2015, based on double occupancy. If you wish a single room, please advise when registering. You will be responsible for paying 50% of the room rate. Single room requests will be subject to hotel availability and will only be honored after all double occupancy rooms have been accommodated. Requests for additional room nights before and after the trip must be made to the JAFRA Travel Team and are subject to availability with rates subject to change and will not be confirmed until full payment has been processed and received. You will be asked for a valid credit card when registering in order to confirm requests for extended dates or a single room. Should you cancel your extension after booking, you will be charged the full cost of extended dates. If you request a single room and then cancel, you will be responsible for 50% of room and tax for program dates plus the full cost of any extended dates. At check-in, you will be asked to provide a major credit, cash or debit card for incidentals that may be charged to your room. Note: even if you do not plan to charge anything to your room a credit card is still required at check-in. Air Travel Qualifying Achievers are entitled to receive round trip air travel to the Kona International Airport originating from and returning to the same airport in your home city per the following conditions: Travel requests will be processed on a first-come, first served basis. Every effort will be made to honor requests for a specific air carrier as long as the request does not interfere with group travel periods and JAFRA s ability to achieve the lowest possible fare. A flight itinerary will be ed for approval. Airline reservations will be held for 24 hours; tickets will be issued within that time even if you are unable to respond. Any costs associated with changing your ticket, once issued (such as name, airport, travel dates, etc.), will be your responsibility. Costs will include the airline s change fee plus any additional fare. There are no exceptions. The Achiever will be responsible for airfare increases and fees that may result from traveling on alternate dates, traveling from somewhere other than your home city, providing incorrect information and/or making changes to an itinerary. All ticketing must be completed by 7:00 p.m. (PDT) on Thursday, June 25, Unused tickets will become the property of JAFRA and are not reusable. An overnight flight will be booked if considered necessary by JAFRA. Ground Transportation Transportation between Kona International Airport and The Hilton Waikoloa Village Resort will be provided for designated group travel periods on August 5 and August 9. If you choose to travel outside of these dates, airport transportation will be your responsibility. On-site Registration Packet A valid form of ID will be required to pick up your Registration Packet. A name badge (and vouchers) will be issued onsite to provide access to all functions. Achievers may not pick up a trip packet on behalf of another Achiever. Amenities Trip amenities are only for qualifying Achievers attending the trip. Additional Travelers Only registered Achievers may participate in the trip, which means unregistered individuals accompanying registered participants may not avail themselves of any JAFRA arranged services including but not limited to air, hotel, ground transportation, meals, or planned activities. Photo Policy JAFRA reserves the right to use any photos or videos taken during this event for print and publication with no monetary compensation. *Reference to a Consultant includes all lineage levels.
