9 35 th Anniversary Celebration CONTRACT: TERmS, CONDITIONS AND CANCELLATION POLICY Travel Arrangements: Travel arrangements to and from Paris must be made through your own travel agent. French Heritage Society will provide transportation within France for the duration of the program. Accommodations: French Heritage Society provides accommodations in Normandy as detailed in the trip program. Accommodations are based upon double occupancy. A supplement for single occupancy is included in the cost for one person. Accommodations in Paris should be booked independently by each participant. Advantages, rates and conditions available to French Heritage Society members upon request at the Hôtel Le Bristol Paris What is not included: In addition to travel arrangements to and from Paris and accommodations in Paris, you will be responsible for personal expenses and tips or gratuities not specifically mentioned in the program description, at your discretion. reservations and Cancellations: As space is limited, reservations will be honored in order of receipt of reservation form accompanied by the appropriate deposit. Payment balance must be received by May 19th, Notice of cancellation by a participant must be received in writing at French Heritage Society s New York Office to be effective. All refunds resulting from cancellations by participants will have a $500 per person fee deducted for administration. No memberships or monies designated as tax-deductible contributions shall be refunded. if your notice is received : You will receive (after deduction of the administration fee) - on or before May 19th, 2017 a full refund of the deposit and other monies, if any, paid. - after May 19th, a forfeiture of the full deposit but a full refund of other monies, if any, paid. - after June 2nd, 2017 a forfeiture of 50% of the full program cost per person. - after June 16th, 2017 a forfeiture of the full program cost per person.

10 French Heritage Society may cancel the program for any reason whatsoever including, but not limited to, an act of God, force majeure, an act of war or civil unrests, strikes or security threats. In such event, any funds previously paid by the participant will be applied to such liabilities/penalties that French Heritage Society has incurred with hotels or with other goods and services providers on behalf of said participant, with any remaining balance to be refunded to the participant. Such refund of monies previously paid shall be the sole responsibility of French Heritage Society in the event of a cancellation of the trip/program by French Heritage Society. French Heritage Society expects to be able to operate the trip program as planned; however; if program changes should become necessary as a result of unforeseen conditions, French Heritage Society reserves the right to make changes in the program and in such event, every reasonable effort will be made to make substitutions on a par with the quality of the program. Trip Cancellation insurance: Because the cancellation policies described in this contract are strictly enforced, we strongly recommend for your protection that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance. In the event that you must cancel your participation in trip/program, such travel insurance may be your only source of reimbursement. responsibilities: French Heritage Society, Inc. and its staff, employees, officers, directors and other representatives (collectively, FHS Persons ) do not own or operate, nor are they affiliated with, any entity which is to provide goods or services for your trip including, for example, lodging facilities, transportation services, food service providers, etc., all of which are independent contractors. As a result, FHS Persons are not liable for any negligent or willful act or failure to act by any such entity or a representative of such entity nor are they responsible for any injury, loss, death, inconvenience, delay or damage to person or property in connection with the provision of any such goods or services. You specifically waive any and all claims of action against FHS Persons in case of any loss of property, accident, injury or death you may suffer in connection with this program. If due to weather, flight schedules or other uncontrollable factors, you are required to spend an additional night(s), you will be responsible for your own hotel, transfers and meal costs. French Heritage Society reserves the right to decline to accept or retain any person as a participant on this trip/program at any time. Specific room assignments are within the sole discretion of the hotels. French Heritage Society is not required to cancel the trip/program for any reason, including without limitation, United States Department of State or other Warnings or Advisories of any kind. Arbitration Agreement: Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating in any way to these Terms, Conditions and Cancellation Policy, to the brochure or to any other information relating in any way to the trip/program, or to the trip/ program itself, shall be settled solely and exclusively by binding arbitration in New York City, New York, in accordance with the commercial rules of the American Arbitration Association then in effect.
